I think I can at least say Portal is objectively not #1 of all time.

At least their number one wasn't the first Mario game.
Every top list of video games I see that has one of the original Mario games as #1 for the reason "IT'S A CLASSIC!" makes me cry a little.

Yeah, I was never fond of the Mario series either, but SMB3 is decent enough to make it into the top 100. That's about it though. Top 10 is way too much. Thank goodness it's not #1 again.

Which is a bit sad because Chaos Theory was by far the best game of the Splinter Cell series.
