alright here's what i thought about the episode.

Again I felt they put way to much happening in this episode.If they had built up the tension between the mismatched cutie marks, it would of been a lot more sympathetic.Now what i loved about this episode Celestia gets a song and she fucking nails it.One thing i would of done would of done was have twilight at the end flying into the screen to black out if she had crashed and then everything is going to be just fine that would of been a little more like her.

again though not a bad episode but definitally not the strongest.

i found it was a very touching episode and i nearly cried when celestia started singing because of the awesomeness

its one of my favorite episodes so far

There should be a movie that goes depth about the ending without an obvious lack of budget called End of Equestria.

And it turns out that the entire series was Twilight realising she has friends, and that's what the 3rd impact is in Equestria.

I love how finales are always pretty much mini-musicals.

I was so happy for Twilight. ='3 The scene with her and Celestia was really pretty/touching.

Also, I lol'd hard at Lyra doing this at the coronation ceremony outside the palace.

It was awesome!

Though I didn't see Lyra. Time to re-watch!

I agree it would have been much better as a double-parter for the things you listed but I still thoroughly enjoyed it and remain optimistic about the future of the show. I doubt very little is going to change in regards to the structure and style of weekly episodes. The gang will still get up to the same trials and tribulations 'cept now Twilight has wings. They wouldn't make her do a complete character flip because of this, she'll still be a geeky klutz. They've been building her up as a leader and strong-minded pony throughout the series though. The most drastic moment being Twilight's being right about Chrysalis' imposting and Celestia failing to see it. Girl got talent.

It was awesome!
