You know what WE do? We buy food, water, batteries and gasoline for our generator. And we don't panic. We should probably start boarding windows just in case, but so far no major damage has been done to our house through the three hurricanes it's been through while i've lived here.

I guarantee you, we were all getting a good laugh at New York when they were "preparing" for Sandy. They had Sandbags 2 high. 2. We saw the pictures and said, "They are preparing, or are they warming up?"

The WORSE POSSIBLE THING that could happen is that you get impaled by a stick blowing at 90 miles per hour or something, the worse that could happen under that is that your home gets flooded or destroyed, but chances are, all that really IS going to happen is that you lose power for a week or two with maybe minor damages.
