it's summer-y!

not 100% happy with it though, mainly because the loss of detail in such a small format makes it look like poor quality, even though it's not. the original just has a very painting-y look to it (which wasn't easy to find) and lots of petals and stuff flying through the air.

still, i like the field of sunflowers (i was going to use a new sig with it, but haven't finished it yet) and i'll prolly just cycle through new backgrounds more often from now on anyway. might still edit the sky a bit to make it look softer and less jpg-artifacts-y, since the petals aren't really visible anyway.

there's actually almost as much blue sky in this one as there was in the last one, i just edited all other striking colors out of that. but having new colors and a bigger contrast in the new one was intentional, to vary it up.

so now i wanted to try something different. i don't think i prefer the new one, but it makes for a nice change.
