noooo double battling is sooo much fun! most tournaments actually use double battles now
Triple battles are okay ish but rotation battles are the actual worst

noooooo, it's not! Sure, it adds strategy, but that only really matters in player vs player, the games themselves are easy enough even with that. So for me who doesn't play versus other players it only adds a few more clicks each round for no good reason at all ;_;

I wanted to play through Emerald so my "Gen 1-2 > rest"-stance had some substance other than character designs (and to see if playing it could change that stance since so many praise later gens), but I couldn't even finish it because I loathed fighting other trainers ._.

I don't think there are many against the random trainers in the newer games so I wouldn't worry about those, I recommend X and Y if you can get your hands on it.

Would like some more creative designs though, looking through this person's store there's not a lot of variety. Might be a good thing actually, my wallet can't take too much Some of the 4minute and Chad Future designs are awesome though!
