It's usually more complicated than just the entertainment industry milking it, and it is. They literally have to keep making movies if they want to ever keep making movies xD
That's the deal Sony has with Marvel, if they are not making a Spider Man movie (doesn't have to be spider-man but have spider-man in it iirc) for 4 years (I think it was 4 years, might have been 3) then the movie rights go back to Marvel and we'd get Spider-Man in the MCU finally.

That also applies to Fantastic Four and X-Men too, we'll be getting those movies for some time

Which is why we're getting a new FF movie soon which looks like it will be awful and will not stay true to the comics at all.

It's absurd, really. Didn't they fail hard enough with the first two Fantastic Four movies?

X-Men I'm usually okay with. Probably because it's one of my favourite superhero franchises.

Me too! Love X-Men movies. I would prefer Marvel to be doing them but if they went back to Marvel they might re-cast wolverine and I can't see anyone else as Wolverine now xD

Deadpool was the worst thing that has ever happened in any modern comic book movie. And the sad part is, they got the casting perfect. Ryan Reynolds would make an amazing Deadpool, but they screwed it up!
Him prior to becoming deadpool in the movie = How he should have been after becoming deadpool.

I honestly feel that way about most of the X-Men cast. At least, the actors in the original trilogy.
I'm not even sure if Marvel would be able to save Spiderman. He's just an obnoxious character. Self-righteous and a brat to boot. I also really don't like spiders, so, it doesn't help that the Spiderman movies would have to have at least one scene with creepy, radioactive spiders.

Deadpool is overrated. Or, rather, he's overexposed considering how trite his schtick is.

Yea honestly I'm not a big fan of deadpool, but I am still annoyed by their portrayal of him in the first wolvie movie. Was awful.

Wow, that's so annoying. I can't play videos on MMO-C anymore. It's like, all the media related scripts bug out at once and just freeze my browser. It used to happen with the Elder Scrolls Online ads as well. And the asian cooking video with the carrots over on AKP. :/
