Love the "More action" part, wasn't expecting it.

Also the jumping out the window.

There's 2 things that are overly forced(Colin encounter + Dad kitchen encounter) and the whole interactive aspect is overall irrelevant due to the going back part.

For secrets, I'm kinda sure there is 1 more safe combination(outside of PAX,PAC,TOY,JFD) and at least 1 more phone number to call, but not really that much into checking in depth.

I have read anything about the movie apart from watching it but I'm almost sure you're supposed to loop through it.

The 8 hours doesn't give your new endings but a different journey.

Colin hints at that being the case. Even if you looped back to the same diverging path, your experience from the previous loop shaped the one you're now on. The choice you make will impact the following events and/or the next interaction of loop. If you follow programming concepts you can iterate through a loop several times before breaking out of it. Or you can go through the loop and see a different outcome everytime, or you can just get stuck in an infinite cycle. I bet the movie is an exploration of loops in general.

    Anyway.

I chose to weird symbol on the computer screen twice just to see what would happen. The 2nd run through defaulted to you killing the dad again, allowing you to choose to bury or chop again. I chose chop and saw a slightly different scene.

More spoilers. First time Colin was completely MIA from the mix. In the 2nd iteration it showed him and the director calling Stefan as Stefan was dealing with the body. They chose to let Stefan work with the rest of film playing out like it usually does. This was after I explored bury and chop. So I'm sure there's something that takes into account looping through the same choices. It gave me the option to warp back and follow his dad hiding the rabbit but I said forget it.

It was fun. Don't think I'll both with it again after getting 3 endings.

Watched the first 2 episodes of the new season, fairly disappointed.

The general ideas were ok, but I was bored a lot of the time.

    Didn't feel like Black Mirror.

Episode 1 was OK, i like the general idea and thought process behind it but the pay off wasn't great.

Is it porn? Is it Infidelity? are they gay? are they still straight? I like how it got me thinking. 2 straight males enter some VR game, 1 as a male and the other as a female and end up lusting and having sex with each other. My initial thought was, ok, so the main character, is he gay or bi curious or is he in fact still straight? his friend playing the female character, i just assumed he was gay as they played the whole episode out that way (how he was close to 40, having flings with younger women, never settling down etc) It opened up what's going to quite possibly be our future with VR, if it looks real, if it feels real, is it real?

I liked the awkward dinner scene, i didn't even mind the part where they met in the rain and kissed to see how they felt in the 'real' world. After they had a fight, got arrested and the main characters wife picked him up from jail and they were in the car, as he took a deep breath and begin to explain for me that's where it should have ended. I didn't need to see how it all turned out, i just wanted to see the complications of how VR could end up and we got that. The ending where he shags his mate once a month and his wife goes to a bar to shag real people once a month was shite.

I thought episode 2 was actually quite potent. The message is real, i actually know someone who died because she was using her phone on Facebook whilst driving and ended up crashing. I think that episode can resonate with a lot of people in this world and the message to put your fucking phone down whilst your driving is real. I liked how the guy who owned Black Mirror's version of facebook even said they had whole departments catered towards hitting that dopamine, making you want more because they actually probably exist in our world right now.

Episode 3 was shit. I thought what was going to happen was Miley Cyrus as we witnessed early on was hating the showbiz lifestyle whilst simultaneously a young girl was in love with her and idea of being a popstar and she was isolated in her own family (no mum, dad doesn't pay attention and shows none, doesn't get along with her sister). As the evil aunt drugs Miley and she falls into this coma, they start scanning her brain and can create songs from it. I thought they were gonna see a tape of the young girls performance at her school when she did the dance, transfer her brain to Miley's body thus having a new pop star to manipulate for their own gain. She loves the life, it's everything shes always wanted, soon starts to see all the bad sides of it and the same happens to her, she's then replaced with another person's mind. Kind of showing what we already know to exist, if pop stars, or any stars for that matter aren't consistent, always out doing things, being their own brand and selling themselves they are quickly replaced with a new star who is willing. the Black Mirror aspect would just be that they don't have to even replace you anymore, they can replace your mind and no one will ever know. But no, the episode was shit.

totally agree with you, the third episode didn't discover everything I expected from it

Also not impressed with these last three episodes and I think it's because they didn't seem nearly as provocative or thought-provoking as the previous seasons. Feels like a brand new writing team, or Netflix told them to tone it down. Either way, all three were meh. Not terrible, but also not memorable.

Had a vendor at work turn me onto this series, wasn't disappointed. Some of those episodes make you really think. White Christmas is one of my favorites. I still need to watch the latest season.
