A transistor is just an electrical component, isn't necessarily sound-related. It doesn't look like a very good sword though (edges aren't sharp, no stabbing point, etc.), so it'd be really neat to see it be sound-based in some way or another.

Transistor can also be short for a transistor radio though. So I've heard at least.
