    What's your gaming DPI?

This questions comes out of pure curiosity.

What's your common DPI when gaming?

My mouse goes up to 3200 but that's quite sick at the moment

    Currently using 1600.

Your mouse might have some software where you can adjust it, or at least see what you are using. If you don't have it installed, check your mouse name + software on the internet and it might pop up.

2500 for most games and 3400 for FPS's. Although I have a 1800 and 4200 setting as well in case I need to switch on the fly for sniping or similar situations.

I have no idea what this is about. The speed my mouse tracks at?
'Twas a cutlass swipe or an ounce of lead

1200 for most games, running at about 2000 for shooters though ( being the online ones, single player shooters i play with a 360 usb controller )

On a side note my mouse goes up to 8200 dpi, but thats way to fast for me.

I used to own a couple of high DPI mice but as a non-competitive player I've always felt more comfortable around 2.7-3k DPI best and on wireless mice I also am comfortable around 333 - 500 ms polling rate. Depends on game though, I have played at games requiring higher movement accuracy at 6,000 DPI as well but that's usually stressing it.

im curious what you would use 8200 for lol, seems like it would be way too quick foir anything, mine on max is only about 3000 or so, a little less i think and that seems to quick do anything with

Well, it should be somewhere between 400-450 with a 1.7 sens in quake wich is the only game that i play right now where it matters in some way.

1800. Just feels right to me.

I had to put it down to 800 because some program or another couldn't handle anything higher. I never bothered changing it after that.

1100, play mostly Starcraft and Battlefield 3.

Default 800, flip to 2000 here and there.

Logitech G5, have had it for years and probably won't change till it dies.

1800, the max avaiable on my Logitech mx518. I just change in-game sens for FPS while i keep a 1:1 ratio with my desktop for Starcraft 2, Diablo 3 and LoL.
