Thank god. I always felt the same, but so many people love his books. I probably wouldn't of finished them if it wasn't for his reputation. The guy could fill 2 or 3 pages just explaining what the forest looked like, but leaves the whole Gandolf resurrecting thing to 2 paragraphs. Originally Posted by Darsithis

Not that I hate the movies. I though the first installment of The Hobbit was fantastic. And Meysvindu, I only complain when important things are left out to the point where important aspects of the story aren't explained well or are outright missing. There are tons of book-to-movie adaptations that I love, like Hunger Games, Harry Potter (there are weaknesses but overall excellent), Ender's Game...and others.

this is the 4th plate I have randomly dropped and broke this month, Ughh I really need to invest in things that don't shatter when I drop them.
reminds me of the time i accidentally dropped a lamb on its head and killed it
