How can you even compare Salamanca to Real Madrid? That's mind boggling.

No, just explain. A third division team is somehow comparable to the biggest team in the world?

the financial disparity is what I'm talking about (and to think, there is close to 50% unemployment in spain for people under age 25)

as aside, wasn't the financial fair play rule supposed to curtail this kind of obscene spending? Instead it is like the twilight zone.

Don't you think Madrid makes enough money to cover the transfers? They've gained a lot of money this transfer window, and let's not forget the 512 million revenue.

Don't they have over half a million in debt ?

Debts in football clubs are out of order nowadays anyway. Bonkers world we live in.

    I wouldn't go that far.
That a club is allowed to go 600 million into debt is a huge ask; for whatever reason be it (new stadium / transfers / salaries ...), outstretching your means that much shouldn't be allowed, and in France it isn't.

In 2012 Real Madrid had a debt of 125 million. However, considering the fact that they pay off what they need to each year there isn't a problem. People like to throw the word debt around a lot without having any clue of how it works.

are you just being dense or did you lose something in translation? he's highlighting the financial disparity, the same way I could with the guy who built a 2 billion dollar house in India when half the population don't even have water.

I don't know. I'm still not over the fact I let something that obvious fly over my head. Ah well.

So, do you guys think Suarez will join Arsenal?

If Liverpool have any brains they'd get rid of Suarez, especially when Arsenal are making frigging £40m bids...

I got another email about Ronaldo going to United rumor-bullshit, think I'll delete myself from the newsletter mailing list from the _site that I shall not name because it's shit_.

Apparently Suarez is thinking about taking Liverpool to court.

The guy is truly the biggest twat in football. I thought it'd be impossible to trump Joey Barton, but I don't think there will be anybody left who doesn't think he is a total bell-end.

I want him out of the premiership, send him to Spain so dooze can have some entertainment in his duopoly of a league.

This just in: Suarez is a cunt, get rid of him.

If I was a Liverpool supporter I'd have wanted the tosser out some time ago. (Since the biting incident with Ivano)
Talk about bringing the club into disrepute.

Take the money and run, Liverpool.

Do you have any evidence of this? A link or something, I haven't seen anything about it. And most of the sh!t on the news is just twisted terribly by the media etc. But as I stated earlier if he were to leave, then leave now so we can buy good replacements for £55 mil.
