Sometimes water elemental not summoning

There are times when i have to summon elemental manually but its mostly happens from mounts i realise that it doesn't summon. What causes this?

There are times when i have to summon elemental manually but its mostly happens from mounts i realise that it doesn't summon. What causes this?

If for whatever reason you get too far from your elemental (excluding flight mounts), it will despawn.

Death also causes it to despawn occasionally.

Ah ok cause it has a cooldown and sometimes its best not to summon it and what not...
