Ele shaman challenge mode

Yo! Just leveled my ele shaman to make CM carries more smooth, however I don't know the stat priorities etc... what should I aim for in CM's for ele? I heard haste from some and mastery from others but can never get a clear answer.

Considering that much of CM consists of bombing trash you're probably are better off with a mastery heavy build. When I did CMs I went for haste, though, simply because casting felt extremely sluggish otherwise.

Wrong. Haste beats out mastery every single time in Gold CMs. All I do these days is sell Gold CMs all day due to 1 night clearing ToT, and my full haste set out performs our guild's main Elemental Shaman using a mastery setup every single time.

Side note: Bla bla I'm over on hit, but obviously my forging is changed when we do Gold CMs, but that is my set. A couple of my pieces are forged for use in my main Elemental or Restoration sets for main raid.

Haste / Mastery: I tried balacing them, had alittle more mastery than haste, and it went great.

Stacking haste is most probably your best bet.

Haste > Crit > Mastery

Mastery is the best cleave stat at higher ilevels, but it is absolute garbage before higher scaling. If you don't believe me find a 463 ele to sim on a cleave heavy fight.

Edit:

464 ilvl. No legendary meta. Cleave heavy fight.

Haste- 1.87
Crit- 1.44
Mastery- 0.60
