What is the primary issue with LFR? If you don't like it, fine, don't do it. How does it affect anyone else other than those who run it? Because someone who you view as a FUCKING CASUAL has purple text on their character pane?
the issue with lfr is how people take it, not lfr itself. i took it like a way to have a first-check on raids without having to waste other people's time learning directly onto the raid.
lfd - i'd keep it for < lvl 90 chars otherwise
item squish - seeing 2k dps on recount makes the game harder than 100k ?_? same for the mounts, cant get the point of wasting time
running, doesn't make the game more interesting or hard.
cc's - minor utility in most of raid bosses, fun in pvp

Every human has a natural need for recognition. A lot of gamers feel they are getting their recognition from being special in a game (which can even be true in some cases). Players in standard raid gear feel their own value reduced when they see others in similar gear, even though those didn't have to accomplish the same things they did.
Overall it's natural, but at the same time pretty stupid
So basically, kids don't want other kids to have the same toys as them, even though the other kids' toys aren't anywhere near as cool.
Hell yeah!
No LFR, no CRZ, merge servers, old talent trees and more! I'd come back in a heartbeat!
I've already quit WoW, and no, I wouldn't go back for those changes. The problem isn't bringing back the old game. Truth be told, that's not what anyone really wants despite the complaints otherwise. It's like the TBC server talk, it's rose tinted nostalgia glasses.
I have quit and...
1. No. That would make me never want to come back.

I do believe you have no idea what you are talking about OP. I quit because it was boring. All those things you want to get rid of are great for the game and remove them would make it even worse.
Aye mate
yep, imagine everyone killing illidan in lfr ect in a later expansion, removes the epicness , PISS OFF LFR!
No
Meh, probably not
Nope
I'd like to see how you'd accomplish this, but maybe
Hell no, gimme the big numbers
Nope
Depends on which tree, but probably, Cata + MOP trees = Hell no
Don't really arena, so meh
It would lean me in that direction
So overall, your list is absolutely terrible and i'm glad you have no say in Blizzard operations. The game needs a shakeup, but not yours. I'm like 99.99912854 done so I guess it's irrelevant, but your list would make it 100% no for sure.
No. And it will never happen either because it would alienate most of WoW's player base. All that stuff is here to stay, deal with it.
If I were unsubbed, what would get me back would be things like:
* Item squish from 1+
* Removal of Heroic mode raids; Flex applied to Normal mode instead of a separate difficulty
* Raids appropriately tuned for average guilds, not elite guilds (think DS normal difficulty but a little bit harder)
* Removal of PVP in general
* Dailies greatly reduced and less grindy
* Removal of factions for instance purposes (i.e. can LFG/LFR cross-faction)
none of this is of interest to pvp players.
A competent handling of pvp balance, wintrading and/or arena tourney server as a normal server option would change things ( arena server = if you cant balance let people all play fotm with no downtime due to lvling /gearing)
You can't bait people with pixels. In the first place it's about the gameplay and nothing else.
I quit about 2 months ago for the first time ever. I had played WoW since late Vanilla and I never once stopped my sub.
Those changes actually might convince me to come back truthfully. But, another big part is if my old friends/guildmates came back too. Not to mention how empty my server became. I also left a piece of my heart inside old Orgrimar.
