    Its a gold sink.

If players sink gold on it, then its a success.

Players have sunk gold on it.

    Therefore, it is a success.

BMAH has not been a success for me. Have nothing against the feature it's just every time I've ever gone there all expansion I see lvl 60 transmog bracers or 20+ brawlers guild invites.

It's not supposed to gear you up for heroic raiding, it's a goldsink.

BMAH has deleted over 4 million gold from my server in the last 30 days. I'd say it's successful.

I'm not one for vanity items that I can't earn through gameplay, so I didn't partake in the BMAH in MoP. I have no problem with others spending tons of gold on vanity stuff. I'd personally take current raid gear off of it though because it kills immersion in the game.

I will say that most players I knew who pounded gold into the BMAH were gold buyers, which kind of sucks. Though I suppose getting excesses of gold out of the marketplace was the point.

The problem with the BHAH is the one cool item and 14 Brawlers invites.

This, too many damn brawlers guild invites and hardly anyone is buying them anymore.
