I agree with it completely. A meal out is $30-$50 or more, so then a $6-10 tip. If you can't afford an extra $10, you obviously don't have enough money to be going out to eat. Get Wendy's for $5 or something if you can't be bothered to cook.
It's absurdly cheap to not tip someone when they make their living off it. At least here in the states, I always tip 20% unless the service was abysmal, and then I'll still usually tip 10% or so. It's a small amount of extra money comparatively, but if nobody tipped then nobody would be a waiter, and the whole industry would fall apart. So yeah. Stop being cheap, I actually quite like the statement, it's very true.
