I don't watch much football, but I've been watching the Super Bowl since 2008, and this was easily the most boring, though I'm glad the Seahawks won (my roommate picked the Broncos, I've been laughing at him since the first 12 seconds of the game). The other Super Bowls I had seen were all close back and forth games, but this was a slaughter from start to finish.

Only a Seahawks fan or bettor could say that was an exciting game. That was just an ass kicking. Congratulations Seahawks fans.

Agreed. I am definitely happy for the Seahawks and their fans, but this was a brutal slaughter. The Seahawks might as well have been playing against no team.

what? this wasn't a charity game between the Seattle Seahawks and some Denver Colorado based high school?

    sheet.

I thought this game was supposed to be an epic showdown.

I was busy earlier in the day so only got back in time to watch the second half but... that was awful. If I had paid to see that game, I would be pissed.

  8. #3728
Wow. That was just a one-sided spanking.

As someone who has lived in Washington for over 2 decades, this was cathartic to watch. One-sided? Absolutely. Not exciting for non-Seattle fans? Sure, sorry about that. But this was a long time coming for us and we have been waiting a very long time to prove we are the best of the best, even if just for one year.

As a seahawk fan. I have waited for this day for so long.

Way to go Seattle! Awesome game..awesome win. You were the only team that showed up and deserved it. Anyone seen the picture of Manning calling his Mom and telling her to come pick him up? Lol...he was pitiful.

Some things change, some stay the same. The Broncos are stuck with Pay-A-ton and his clutch playoff record.
    You cared enough to post.

Biggest losers were the advertisers who paid big money only to see millions leave at halftime.

Even if just for one year? Sorry, but your team looks to dominate the NFL for a long while if they can keep the core of this team together.

With Russel Wilson, a healthy Harvin and the core of this defense you are set up for what would not surprise me to be repeat champions and long term contenders.

Felt like a Warrior - Spriest duel.

At least we had an amazing halftime show. Oh wait...

Am i really the only one that dont understand how people could think this was a 50/50 game?
all pressure was on Broncos, Peyton ofcourse more pressure than others as he wanted his ring and perhaps a decent "ending?".
They played once in pre-season where Seattle also dominated to say by winning 40-10.
And ofcourse the biggest reason. What is the positive thing about having a #1 Offense, when you're having a mediocre defense(and pathetic today) when you're facing an oldschool #1 Defensive team with pretty decent offence?
Im by far not an expert in NFL or the sport in general but all those things together would to me be a huge favour for the Seahawks as we saw today.

I just wanted to see a good Superbowl and was very disappointed. Half time show was fairly awful, and there were only a couple commercials that were good. At least I didn't pay thousands of dollars to see the damn thing.
