    Building new gaming PC UK

Hey, I'm currently using a computer i've had for thepast 4 years and I'm off to university on the 15th of sept.
This rig really starting to struggle on newer games these days, I'd like to get a new one built myself but i'm worried i'll accidently select parts that arn't compatible and hoping someone here can give me some better direction.
    My budget is £600-£700
I'd like the computer to have an SSD for fast startups/loading (but depending on how much of a cost this can cut for overall performance makes a difference)

With the next gen of MMO's and General games around the corner i want a PC to be able to play this on Ultra/high graphics pretty comfortiably i dont need an OS i can install one using a disc i already have and ofc already have keyboard/mouse/monitor and would like atleast 4 USB slots
If there is anymore information you need please ask and thank you for your help it is much appreciated

my Budget is little stretched as it is, and would a sound card also be needed? i tried going on that website myself earlier and just felt a little blinded as i don't exactaly know what i'm looking for or what parts i can cut costs on as long as i still get the performance out of it, i suppose one where i can run most current games on high/ultra would still be a manjor step up, if i'm playing something like infestation on low graphics i'm on about 16fps, if i can be on medium at 40 fps for the next gen of games I'd be happy.

Also would it be wise to use a small SSD for loading OS and startup programs and the HDD for the rest?

    EDIT: Really appreciate the help

Also parts that can be relatively easily upgraded in the future can get ones that will work more than well enough for todays games like having skyrim on ultra or DCUO or GW2, if it can be built around future upgrades i don't know if that will help for the budget

would i be able to do better than this for roughly the same price? http://www.cyberpowersystem.co.uk/sy...eekly_sales_II (£634 including VAT)

i got this setup for £681 if i replace the 250gb SSD with a 2TB HDD and 32GB SSD (Which startup programs and OS will be loaded onto for quick computer bootup and a big HDD for the sheer amount of games i'll have installed plus university work) Is there something wrong with this or will this rig work if i just buy the parts then hook up my keyboard/mouse/speakers/monitor?

I propose following build with fewer and more reputable vendors:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

    CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor (£172.59 @ Amazon UK)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler (£23.98 @ Scan.co.uk)
    Motherboard: ASRock Z75 Pro3 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard (£63.53 @ Amazon UK)
    Memory: G.Skill Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1333 Memory (£39.99 @ Amazon UK)
Storage: Samsung 840 Series 120GB 2.5" Solid State Disk (£73.19 @ Aria PC)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (£49.00 @ Amazon UK)
Video Card: XFX Radeon HD 7870 XT 2GB Video Card (£155.99 @ Aria PC)
Case: Xigmatek ASGARD PRO (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case (£37.20 @ Dabs)
    Power Supply: XFX 550W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply (£49.86 @ Scan.co.uk)
Optical Drive: Samsung SH-224DB/BEBE DVD/CD Writer (£12.86 @ Amazon UK)
    Total: £678.19

120GB SSD included, the combo with IvyBridge is cheaper and you're not going to lose much in performance, if any. The EVO is decent enough cooling for the i5-3570k. You can still get the cheaper 450W unit just know that it only comes with one connector for the GPU and you need two, the XFX 550 comes with two. Some GPUs comes with adapters but I don't know about that specific model.

You're welcome, they're no special deals so should be fine by the time you need to order.
