Well, regardless, 11 hours is a long time of extra progress on a boss. Method was MUCH faster clearing than Blood Legion and they killed Thok first where Blood Legion was already wiping on.

its more than 11 hours, its closer to 15-16 hours, need to factor in the time difference as well. in any case, the whole idea of a world first race without it being on a even play field in terms of when the content is released, is utterly stupid.

its more than 11 hours, its closer to 15-16 hours, need to factor in the time difference as well. in any cas.. no you don't need to factor the timer difference, the hardcore guilds raid outside of prime time, so if there is 11 hours in gmt between them then that's what there is, generally that goes away very fast anyway given the fact the there is double the players in the eu they can normally rotate more, anyways maybe 1 day will get same patch time, maybe 1 day we will also get servers for us australians, here is hoping.

There's no possible way to release it that would be fair anyway, due to time zones. If everyone gets it at the exact same time, that's going to be at different times of day. There's a pretty big difference between getting the raid in the early afternoon and getting it late at night, in terms of how much raiding you can do before exhaustion becomes a problem.

The only way to make it fair is to count world firsts is in terms of how long after the raid tier opened it took, but that's stretching the definition of "first" quite a bit.

If both EU and US had reset on their Tuesdays, the difference would have been 8 hours. But EU gets it in Wednesday.. Anyways its been fun following the race this tier cheers for all guilds trying and congrats Method for winning it so far!

Top guilds don't give a shit about sleep. They would simply sleep prior to servers coming up and then raid for 16-20 hours.

idd, Top guilds when it comes to world firsts dont really care, they will get online asap and start raiding no matter the release, the problem with content being released on 2 different days is that those guilds in the US that gets world firsts will have their accomplishments diminished by the fact that many ppl will just look at it and think "oh they only got their world first coz they started first in the US", with content release at the same time, we would atleast know whos the best of the guilds and make the race an actual race.
