    Galakras 10man

    Hey guys.

    We had time to make some pull on Galakras but everytime just before we killed the second demolisher, Lor'themar Theron died.

    This NPC is the meele NPC so he is among us getting hit by all the aoe stuff the adds are doing

    Anyone had same problem, found a way to fix? Thanks

    The Bonecrushers will charge one of the 3 NPCs and start channeling an ability that does 10% of their HP every second. You need to stun the bonecrushers to stop it.

    Anything that interrupts but silences will work. Knockback, grip, stuns are your best bets.

    Thanks for the response. Do you know how ofter aproximately(seconds) he does the fracture spel??

    Roughly once before they die. If your dps is subpar they may do it twice but that means you'll need to tell your dps to focus better.

    If you let it channel all the way, expect the npc to lose 50% of their health. We had to heal the NPC to keep him alive, he takes some damage regardless.

    ~30 second cooldown on fractures. WATCH the ones who charge lor'themar, since he's in melee, there isn't a flailing orc travelling to BFE with a sign that says, "Hi Interrupt Me Please!"

    Just a grip works fine, you have to wait until he starts casting it, if you do it straight as he charges it won't interrupt it and he will use it again instantly.

    Unrelated but jesus christ the tiny hitbox on galakras himself is ridiculous. Why do you do this shit to melee, blizzard?

    You're probably just not on the right targets. Assign the Tower group to kill the Demo then go to their tower, and assign the ppl who stay down to kill adds and mark the bonecrusher and keep tanking interrupting/stunning the shaman adds. Not much to it. Thats the easy part, the last phase is the difficult one.

    Really? i thought the galakras phase is the easy one that you oneshot if you reach it

    Final phase is the most difficult. Healing is intense (we 2 heal it) and there is personal responsibility with the orbs. It can also be a mess if you don't transition cleanly and have a bunch of adds up.


    If you let it channel all the way, expect the npc to lose 50% of their health. We had to heal the NPC to keep him alive, he takes some damage regardless


    Can you actually heal the npcs? Our healers claimed they couldn't. The wipes we had we generally caused by Varian dying.

    u can heal them but they have like a LOT of hp so it takes some spamming to get them up. if u have good dps u can pretty much keep them out of the fight till the last phase just watch the bonecrushers

    Yes, you can heal the adds, but they have anywhere from 60-90m hitpoints, and obviously you aren't going to outheal 10% of their HP / sec damage from the Bonecrushers. But yes you can heal them.

    We were having issues with the flying proto drakes during the last phase, since guides and journal didn't mention them. If you guys find that the proto drakes are hitting you for 300k every now and then during the last phase, then make sure that someone climbs into the turret on the first tower and shoots them down.

    Galakras only lands when you shoot him down. How long can you delay shooting him down? Can you just clear add waves and then take him out? Or do adds keep coming until you use the cannons?

    The perfect time is when the wave of drakes spawn, because its just 2 drakes send the ppl asap to the tower to take down the boss after the drakes die, but if the boss is in the middle of the two towers and one drake is still alive shot her down.
