Trying to improve my Resto Shaman

Hello fellow Shamans! I'm currently trying to improve the performance of my Resto Shaman and hope some of you can share useful Information with me

    Armory: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/characte...nette/advanced
    Logs:
    http://www.worldoflogs.com/reports/rt-hvfibmj6vilns5y2/
    http://www.worldoflogs.com/reports/rt-ke51utsuyiaraqya/

    LOGS ARE IN GERMAN :/

So in general i'm not up-to-date how i should reforge and gem in 10mans nor do i know which glyphs i should use. i'm currently experimenting with "chaining" and the "riptide" glyph because of the recent buffs to both spells.

i'm usually healing together with a holy paladin and a disc priest, the latter being currently unavailable. i have much to compensate since our paladin isnt well geared and does probably many things wrong with his class (i have no idea)

maybe some of the more experienced shamans can help me - if you need more information feel free to ask. and please pardon my english :/

    thank you

Looking at the logs you seem to do pretty well already.

However there are a few things I would change. I would go for the 7613 haste cap for one extra tick of healing rain and overall faster casts. I think you can drop some crit and spirit for that. I feel like crit isn't as good as it was before 5.4 because our main healing spells right now don't benefit that much from it.

Another thing that doesn't push our healing but is an overall good thing to use for a lot of fights is Gylph of Healing Stream Totem. I would drop Glyph of Riptide for that.

For talents I think Primal Elementalist is superior to Unleashed Fury. Activate the 10% healing boost when you need it and recall the elementals to get all the mana back.

yeah forgot to mention that i'm experimenting with unleashed fury too. i have to admit i tried the 7613 haste breakpoint back in ToT and wasnt really satisfied. also a (good) shaman friend told me its "stupid" to go for haste in 10mans so i went back to 3764~

i'm usually rolling glyph of healing stream totem, but swapped it for malkorok, where its pretty much wasted (i think its shadow damage?)

maybe i'll try out the 7613 breakpoint tonight, thanks for your input so far

With the 7613 breakpoint Healing Rain has 7 Ticks instead of 6. That is a 17% buff to Healing Rain for no extra mana costs, I wouldn't call that "stupid"

Also Chain Heal is so strong right now but has a really long cast time. Haste helps with that a lot.

i'll try it tonight^^ i noticed i have few orange gems in red slots.. does it matter or should i gem pure int in these sockets?

As the others already mentioned: reforge to the haste breakpoint, it is really worth it!

As far as you are comfortable with your mana you could go int only. I prefer int/spirit over pure int.

On stacked fights (e.g. Sha) you could drop Rushing Streams for Conductivity, too.

i was thinking about using conductivity but our kill was so messy we moved much more than we should have^^

mana is rarely a problem. its either full mana or instant oom lol. but i would only swap the orange gems i have in red sockets (chest for example). especially early in a new raid i'm taking it slowly with dropping spirit - since as already mentioned our holy paladin isnt as strong as he should be

Wish I got to 2 heal more :>

Anyhoo, I roll with the 2nd healing rain breakpoint and looking into going for the next healing stream breakpoint(8882). I've no mana problems with my current build. In all my red and yellow slots im using +int +haste (orange) gems for 10 man raiding (8/14) me - http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/characte...emoss/advanced

I guess it is down to personal preference if you go high haste or high crit

i'm playing with 9099 haste and have no mana issues so far.

anyway i'm recycling my old thread for a quick question~

    http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/characte...nette/advanced
as u can see i'm wearing t15 4pc with hands being 530 ilvl and legs 543 ilvl. now i've got two new items in my bag:
    http://www.wowhead.com/item=103942/shadow-binders-kilt
    http://www.wowhead.com/item=99108

since in my opinion the t15 4pc bonus is quite weak, i was wondering if i should go for the two off pieces or not. does anybode know if its worth it?

    please pardon my english

I asked this in another thread and someone replied saying you should replace the t15 4 piece as soon as you can, looking at the 2 items you linked I would definitely use them.

the t15 4pc is ok but not required. Furthermore it is outdated with the glyph and spell changes in 5.4. you should be going for t16 2pc and t15 2pc.

i'll go for the 2pc as soon as i have it, but until then i was just curious if breaking it for higher itemlevel would be worth the loss of the t15 4pc^^
