I like traps the way they are now. The only thing I wish for, was 'detonate trap', like clicking trap skill again would detonate it.
Aspects could be made more fun, but if they get rid of cheetah and give nothing in return (permanent speed increase) I will be a sad panda
Pets could get some loving, yes.
PM me weird stuff :3
You don't like one class out of 11. So what? Play something else.
hunter is the most unique class in wow imo.
it's a ranged dps that does physical damage and is 100% mobile, their main niche is how mobile they are, which I guess is kind of hunter like.
but all casters are almost similar, and all melee are almost similar, hunters are like half melee in the aspect they can move without dps loss and they're ranged at the same time.
as for animations, in my opinion, who cares, why would you be looking at your character while fighting anyways.(by that I mean looking at their animations, obv you should be looking at them to see the environment around you.)
they're also the only class in the game that has their own type of weapon.

I felt the exact way about Warlock until Grimoire of Sacrifice. I feel your pain. I just didn't get the class, thought it was boring.
Now, I like my lock, and basically don't get/am bored by hunter. For me, Focus made hunter boring (personally), but I don't think my level of boredom is as bad as yours, based on your description.
You're waxing freaking poetic about it I just kind of think they're boring. I used to feel like you feel about Warlock, though.
If you're lucky, maybe they'll change something about Hunter that will make you like it, like GoS made Warlock more fun for me
Yeah I haven't managed to level a hunter past 20 either, they're just boring. Not a ton of cool animations, which makes the class dull.
IMO
hunters are 2nd in my top 3 most enjoyed classes (Mage-Hunter -Druid ) and i've got 4 hunters in total, going to get them all to 90 before next xpac (only one of them is 90 atm). Sadly though hunters have been very weak throughout mop. They were already weak in 5.2 and it got even worse when they removed blink strike and now readiness. Hunters are one of the weakest classes atm in pve and have been throughout the whole mop period. (Some will definitely argue against me now but as someone who has 7x capd alts in mop and have tried out many different spec and classes at mid-high raiding i'd say hunters are the weakest class, weaker then balance druid.)
I have an interest in archery so they're really fun for me especially when I make a Blood Elf hunter.

Might just be me, but I really liked hunters before, when they had mana and was both ranged and "melee". Not sure why but I feel that after they did those changes it was a whole different play style, more like the other classes.
McNugget's Bite hits you for 57k
McNuggets's Kill Command hits you for 49k
McNugget then hits you for the following:
42k
87k
109k
I love Hunters, nothing better than being jumped by a PvE BM Hunter and getting obliterated within a few seconds.
The Isle is literally just swarming with BM Hunters.
KEEP IN MIND: This is with the standard 72% resilience that we all have. Isn't PvP fun in MoP? Don't forget to Deter!
I agree with the melee abilities hunters used to have. I miss having like a polearm or dual wielding swords and being able to melee as well as ranged it was like your emergency plan when your enemies were too close. I think it also made them more unique from the other classes just by being both ranged and melee since everything else was either caster or melee. And if I'm not mistaken didn't we also have like ammo types where it had an element effect on them like a frost arrow or something. I thought those were cool too and added more uniqueness to them. Now it's just target and shoot from your imaginary quiver. Although I do like the focus better than mana. I always thought mana was annoying on hunters and focus makes more sense for them.

The hunter gameplay is very boring. It is almost too easy to good at it. I loved my huntard all the way through leveliing, and even at 90, but now i have become used to it, it is just faceroll so I don't enjoy it. But I have the attention spa... SQUIRREL... span of a goldfish, so I am not the best judge of a class (I switch my main every few weeks :< )
People look at the animations? o.O
I play a class for the abilities it has, not the way it looks.
always felt hunters should have more of a fps feel. actual aiming and headshots.
Let's give hunters laser and plasma rifles.
I dunno, personally i like hunter and have like 11 of them. Most of them are BM too because i see it, as having a deep spiritual bond with your pet, that they become your friend, your family, and would be willing to die to save you. Think Rexxar and his bond with Misha.
Though i wish that they would take it one step further and add s skill to BM hunters that sorta works like the buff from the Old ZG weapons.
basically, you and your pets bond is so strong, you sort of merge together, based on your pets talent tree, you take on different skills and abilities.
Like if there Ferocity, you gain a damage buff if there the Tenacity, you gain a tanking buff and skills, and if there cunning you gain a damage buff, as well as other things.
