I feel Vol'jin may be a bit more focused on trying to fight loyalists to Hellscream since despite how players felt about him, had a lot of support.

I hope for the love of god that by the time of 5.5/next xpac, we'll be done with that.
I already found a Horde-to-Horde conflict completely alienating for the Orcs, and there are (as always) other 'loyalists' of the Horde that need to be kept in check, instead of Hellscream's puny orc uprising, such as Sylvanas, Gallywix and hell, I don't even trust Lor'themar completely after he considered to switch back to the Alliance in 5.1.

By the time a corpse from the old Scourge war is ressurected against his will there is no free will. The Join us or Die is an ultimanum not a free will and I think it's about time this very bad excuse dies.

BTW Genn. Shouldn't you include the Argent Crusade and the Knights of the Ebon Blade for that expansion? I mean they do have a base of operations in Stratholme and the Chillwind Camp and they have circled the Forsaken from all sides. They are wary of their actions and a matter of time to interfere.

A part of me does think that the Argent Dawn/Ebon Blade could have a part in this, though that might bloat the thing a bit. I'd also like to see something done with Kolitra. Maybe he could keep an eye on the Undercity (a council leadership in UC would be cool, like how Ironforge has the Council of Three Hammers. Maybe Kolitra, Nathanos and the leader of the Apothecaries?) if Sylvanas is deposed.

That is EXACTLY what I was thinking aswell.
I had an idea for them aswell, one might say it's bad but I haven't put that much thought in it as of yet:

After certain negotiations with Varian, Vol'jin moves the Horde out of Gilneas
Jaina has finally found a way to make Dalaran mobile and troubles Varian to land it where Theramore once stood or where it originally stood in Hillsbrad, in the heart of Horde territory. Varian is slowly getting tired of Jaina's unnecisary lust for vengeance and orders Dalaran to stay foot. Jaina ignores and lands in Alterac, the heart of Forsaken territory.
Understandibly both Vol'jin and Varian are pissed, and as soon as Lor'themar hears of Dalaran's landing he rushes to Alterac with his Sin'Dorei and plans to simply rush in and free the Sunreavers, but he doesn't know Dalaran is mobile and only believes it was teleported to Alterac, so they run in a trap and retreat.
Vol'jin arrives later on after having acquired certain weaponry and the Horde take down the mages that allow Dalaran's mobility, giving them the disadvantage and allowing Lor'themar to seize Jaina after some struggle. Varian arrives on the scene and the deal pretty much is "release the Sunreavers and move Dalaran away or the mage gets it"
And they do just that.
