The US 10 man scene is extremely weak in comparison to their EU counterparts. It's an even bigger disparity than US 25 mans vs EU 25 mans

So sorry that America is too busy saving the world from terrorists socialists and nazis on a daily basis to be #1 at some little video game. We could easily dominate the raid scenes, we just dont feel like it. Remember that the next time you wake up and arent speaking germanese

Become a school teacher and get funded for research; still don't raid with any conviction.
Obviously I sit in a very different place. I don't come from a wealthy family, but I had to opportunity to work in my field while studying (music), which paid the bills and more. Granted, I'm comparing Australia to America, and honestly, we get by with relative ease here.
Sidenote:
Avast - World First 10man US/Oceanic, 3 hour time difference, 250ms guild!
Marrsy (Ascension) once opened a conversation with me stating, 'You may have heard of me'.
Not really, Oceanic raiders have ridiculously high ping compared to the majority of American or EU groups, we have resets on Tuesdays during where raid time would be not to mention we also have much smaller number of players (because we have less people in total).
Hahaha so u mean that meanwhile saving the world ppl raid 4 days a week? Absolutly hilarious! Going back in time using Caverns of time to save the world from Nazis etc.Coming back right in time to snatch the trinket from immerseus!
I am sure that u would have rocked the scene if u just cared. *sarcasm*
I could sprint faster then Usane Bolt if I just cared and trained very hard, easily.
At the very least it's extremely interesting. I wonder what cultural difference draws US players away from top-tier 10man raiding, while they do have a representation in the 25 bracket on that level.

Very anecdotal and situational. Taking time off work to play a video game for hours upon end isn't exactly the social pinnacle of devotion and dedication in these parts...
I'm sorry but do I really get this right: As far as I know, it's same fight both in EU and US. But since US haven't killed that yet, some people claim that it has to be much much harder somehow in US and therefore it hasn't been killed? Why people just can't admit that EU people are better on progression Well, it's my opinion atleast!
That is true. I despise brown carpet and it makes me not want to raid.
I used to be in Nightmare Asylum the last two tiers. Last tier US 1st 10m and 9 other EU guilds beat us. Pretty big gap. I know this tier, they had some serious roster issues and missed out on several raiding days and the guy that replaced me accounted for 70% of their wipes. Was really bad apparently.
But EU is most notable for their solid 10m teams, yet there more 25m guilds that have downed Garrosh versus 10, sixteen to twelve. Plus gear takes into a huge account as well since 25 mans drop so much loot it is ridiculous.
10 v 25 man tuning doesn't even come into the discussion when the question is why 0 US 10 man guilds have killed heroic Garrosh while 12 EU 10 mans have and it's simply because EU 10 mans are far more skilled/hardcore/whatever excuse you want to make up.
This kind of pisses me off, but I guess I have no way to defend against it since no US 10 mans have killed the fight yet.
Really though, you think the quality of players in 10 man are just that poor? I would expect someone from EU to say that since it's their chance to shit-talk, but it's dumb if you really think that's true. There's a way smaller pool of people to recruit from (as opposed to EU where they have far more 10 mans) and most of the serious raiders in the US are probably in 25 mans - but that doesn't mean 10 mans have nothing but crappy players.
Still wondering why I play this game.
I'm a Rogue and I also made a spreadsheet for the Order Hall that is updated for BfA.
Half true. EU's bread and butter are 10 mans, and yes they are more skilled/hardcore, whatever because of a larger pool of players.
However you CANNOT just discount a disparity in difficulty either. More 25ms in EU have downed it than 10s, and most of those 10s over there are a 7 day raid schedule with several at 8 hours plus per. That is more dedication more than anything else.
Not to discredit Reckoning's accomplishments this tier, but they just downed Garrosh on 25 on a 5 day schedule. Whether they put more time in, I cannot say. Yet I can say their previous tier performance was lackluster. A full month later than the top US 10m guild last tier, even worse than the previous tier. Nightmare Asylum, Avast, Modest have been pretty consistent over the last few tiers at the top of US 10m raiding. I know why NA hasn't downed it due to roster issues this tiers, cannot say why the other two haven't but could be something similar. Or it could be a slight tuning issue as well. Who knows?
