For whatever reason, Blizz is cool with shockingly different species producing offspring as long as they are both anthropomorphic. In real life, there are very, very few examples that anything outside of its species can produce offspring. Characters like Garona are used as a plot device, even though her existence doesn't make too much biological sense.

Yup that, because in a world where holy demonic middle-eastern russian squid-faced blue space goats that flies on an interdimensional city crashed and survived on an Island where the people are purple elves, and people casually fling fireballs using their finger, I'm surprised as well.

This would never happen. From most elf/dwarf stories the two races do not get along very well. Traditionally dwarves hate magic and want nothing to do with it, while elves are usually highly magical beings. They tend to greatly avoid each others company.

As far as Tauren, I dont think they are genetically compatible enough with the other races to produce any offspring. I think Tauren and Pandaren would be the closest compatible races to produce offspring, and I just dont see that ever happening.
