I started in what I assume was a few months after BC release. It was late 07 and I played off and on, like 4 times a month. I got serious 3months before ZA. I sadly was a long time noob for my first year, first I didn't what talents were. Then I played a hybrid, ret holy paladin. And it took me till lvl 45 to kill that damn wind elemental for my warriors axe which I used all through my BC lvling till the nagrand arena quest.
And no epics but the scourge event kind of helped me....man this is sad to remember everything I did.

Someone how into US Open Beta without being in US
Played for 5-6 days from 9AM-3AM (sick, I know).
Met a cool person during low levels 3 times during question, got Ventrillo of her guild, joined 2nd day of US Live game and got sent a CD-key along with the game from one of her friends. How lucky am I, right?

So Open Beta and then from 2nd or 3rd day US live.

June 2006, the week Naxx40 came out. Because of a slow install, I missed the end of the first Scourge Invasion event by a matter of hours.

My dad played the classic beta, I tried it out for like literally 30minutes and left it like that, haven't started my own account till 2005.

Christmas 2004, though I actually put the game down after a week or so and came back to it a few months later.

I started in Burning Crusade's last patch. It wasn't until the patch for the Icecrown Citadel had finally been released, that I had actually made a full level character, which I then swapped out to a death knight. I was the type of player, that couldn't figure out for the love of god how to do anything for 6 months. I just ran around doing things with my other girl friends I had invited to play. xD

    Oh yeah..it is "Pandaria", right?
Is it? I don't know either way.. Do you feel this confuses people (the e instead of a?) they might be looking for pandaria and not finding it? The responses for 2010 and later are really quite low.

Just after the Naxx 40 patch hit. The first KT kill on my server was the week I joined. Played straight through wrath and have been on and off since.
You either die a Varian, or live long enough to see yourself become a Thrall...
