Orc - Mag'har (They're alredy in the Horde)
Troll - Forest Trolls (Revantusk tribe, already allies with the Horde)
Tauren - Taunka (They're alredy in the Horde)
Forsaken - The Val'kyrs could revive any race of Lordaeron, Trolls, Elves, etc..Am I the only that can picture Sylvanas killing and reviving High Elves to fight for her?
Blood Elves - Hmm, I don't know, maybe some Felblood Elves? They could use the same excuse used with the Highborne and the Night Elves in Cataclysm...
    Goblins - Hobgoblins maybe?

Humans - Hmm, they could change some aspects from the ppl of Gilneas and add some of them that are free from the curse as a subrace for humans...
Dwarves - Dark Iron and Wildhammer (Alredy in the Alliance)
Gnomes - Cured Leper gnomes maybe? (Sand Gnomes as an alternative choice)
Night Elves - They missed the oportunitie to create a subrace when they introduced the Highborne back in Cataclysm..Well, they could easly change that...
    Draenei - Broken (*-*)
Worgen - Yeah, I'm stuck in this one...

    Pandaren - Who cares...

I love the idea, but so many of those already mentioned feel desperately forced.
Here's what makes sense to me, using the same base model as the race:

Dwarf - Dark Iron, Wildhammer, Frostborn
    Gnome - Leper
Worgen - Night Elf Worgen (This feels like a stretch, but basically instead of reverting to a human form they could revert to a Night Elf form. A lot of people would enjoy this and it would fit lore wise, but it wouldn't really be very impactful)

Orc - Mag'har, Dragonmaw, Fel Orc, Black Rock
Tauren - Taunka, Grimtotem (I see Yaungol tossed around a lot, but they never joined the horde so far as I know)
Undead - All of the horde races Death Knight reskins. Why would Val'kyr and Sylvannas only raise random human peasants in Silverpine, and not the hordes own fallen?
    Blood Elf - San'layn

I'm not sure about things like Broken, Forest Troll, Vyrkul, etc. They'd would fit lore wise, and be awesome, but realistically that's a whole new model. At that point you're talking more new race, not sub-race in terms of game mechanics. I just couldn't see that ever happening as a subrace. If Forest Trolls didn't have the new muscular model, then they'd just be green reskins of current trolls, which we already have. And they're not going to take the time to give us all these nice new models, then use crappy old Broken, Forest Troll models.

Why are people throwing out things like Gil Goblins? They have nothing to do with the horde. It just feels like a contrived way to force feed another sub race. If you want to fill a square hole, look for a square piece, please don't try to force down a circle... it just undermines the whole concept imo. I think we're more likely to get a couple per faction that make sense and are simple recolors, instead of huge over hauls/new models/forced subraces that don't really jive all for the sake of at least one per race.

Realistically with the new models we'll likely get a couple skin color choices for Orc, Dwarf, and Tauren that would work for at least some of the above sub races. Just like how the Dark Spears already have a green skin, which would technically apply to a forest troll not jungle.

Don't forget the Frostborn, and a Frost Troll tribe could also join the Horde as a group of blue like trolls for the playable race of trolls. :P

I would love recolours of the new mounts for the new playable model's mounts and the old ones can be pets for Hunter's and even Pet Battle Pets. :P
    For the Horde!

I don't think we need recolors for the vanilla mounts, we need the new updated models most of them have in the game ideally. It's a fookin' crime that gorgeous Night Elf armored sentinel racial mount is only available to PVPers. So much great lore and custom racial armor is squandered as prestige snow flake items for the population of players in this game most notorious for not giving a damn about cosmetics or lore. It's nice we eventually see them as hand me downs if we're lucky, and often we can't mog it.

And the new wargs,... man, they need a warg that does the concept art justice. They have fine texture and craftsmanship but the silhouette is eye jarring to me. Look at Samwise's recent wargs in his painting of Hel and Garm and the Orc here.

They look like demonic norse wolves, much like Peter Jackson and Guillermo Del Toro changed their wargs to look in the Hobbit from those weird ass hyena things.

The wargs you see in the WOD announcement trailer from the pvp mount look like torpedo heads with vaguely wolf like heads inside the segmented torpedo.

Yes, forget for a moment everything we ask for is added developer resources, spare me. An updated raptor with the quality of the dinosaurs of the Thunder Isle patch, the new panthers and tigers of Pandaria, an updated mechagnome strider, stallions, aaaaaah, too much awesome. Too awesome to ever happen. Just like an orc that looks anything like this will ever be playable. /wrists

By the way, I did some photoshop work to make him look green with some highlights and stuff. My dream Orc player model, in so many words.

Yeah, I'd like something like that for them, it's also the direction I suspect they'll take them in. Something like that for both elven races would be cool.

And new previews means new mockups! Heck yeah. I'll probably redo some of the earlier mockups, I did these as a photoshop practice exercise after all so hopefully I've improved a little bit. Looking forward to doing the San'layn Blood Elves and Demon Hunter Night Elves.
Felbloods should be pretty tripping to experiment with too.

I added hair and made Garrosh kind of red eyed like Grommash as a chaos orc. Made his skin look less radioactive and darker. Then I added an alternate version with the new player model heal to see an upright orc version of the new player model.

Still have 20 shades of green I've edited and can't decide on.

I really dig the Dark Iron Dwarves and that Red Orc in front of the Dark Portal. That human undead crossover is gonna haunt me though..

I am talking about the new Wolf models like the Kor'kron or the ones from the trailer would be also better.
The new Frostsaber mount could work for the other night elves, the new Wyvern/Gryphon could work for players as well, the undead steeds from the War Saddle could work for undead, and so forth.

TBH they could achieve that by just bringing in Forest Troll models and allowing blue skin customisation. Frost trolls are more or less completely wiped out by the Scourge unless I am mistaken. Forest trolls generally are few in numbers but enough for a subrace I reckon. There are already forest troll models they can make use of, so I don't think it's a very difficult addition, but that depends on how extensive they intend the new model overhaul and, if they introduce them, the subraces to be.

Not... wargs... Worgs or wolves. Not wargs, dang it. That is for Lord of the Rings only (and Game of Thrones if not an animal).
I really needed to point that out to get it off my chest.

As for the mounts, I am totally for the old racial models to be updated to the newer ones. I actually love the Kor'kron wolf model; it is different. Maybe a little too sleek for the bulky Orcs but also keep in mind that these wolves (not including the Frostwolves) have been raised and bred in Durotar, a hot and scorching environment. Those fluffy wolves (old models) seemed to have too much of a winter coat going on for such heat. Excuses, excuses... I still want that Kor'kron wolf model though ><

I'm hoping they update some of the ancient NPC models as well, I'm looking at you starter zone beasts with 10 Poly's.

Why do the Undead have those stupid ears? Also, if that's anything close to what Humans are going to look like, I'll be completely done with the Alliance. Dwarves, and Orcs looks pretty awesome.

Sub-race mock up for a reason, undead elf instead of just undead humans.

And how. I wish they'd replace the Furbolg in Teldrassil and Ashenvale too with the northrend model. Just use a smaller version. For some reason they use them in the epic finale quest in Teldrassil as shadow furbolg from the Nightmare, but leave the old one walking about. This would be cool, new lions and tigers, a lot they have to use and tweak. Would be nice to see totally updated everything but I need to calm down before they taze me.

yeah i never understood why they didnt update the old furbolgs. there cant be that big of a difference between normal and polar furbolgs

They're supposed to be bigger up north, that's about all people tell me when they've disagreed with me about this in the past. So scale em down, easy.

I love their new model. It would look even cooler today, but still, being stylized it still has it's charm. And those glowing bee hives they hang for light sources make me feel a weird sense of magical calm serenity.

My guess is that they are supposed to somewhat resemble Grizzly Bears, which I totally understand. I just think it might be a little odd to have high res updated player models in vanilla zones with 10 year old mob models, considering most of the models, like the cats and the spiders and furbolgs and imps and shit have updated models from the higher level zones that could easily be their replacements.
