Given that I was the poster he was mention with the "above post", I think it's warrented to mention that progression style raiding is out of my grasp, as I'd be sacrificing nearly all the free time (and perhaps more) I have during the week, and I'm prefectly cool with that. I also agree, that even with my life as a typical working adult, I can still find some time to play WoW on a regular basis, it just has to fit into my "block" of free time and I have to be able to get away from WoW if RL needs me.
Let me preface what I'm about to say with "To each his own, do what makes you happy, YOLO, etc..."
Having lived the bleeding edge hardcore raiders life for years, I don't miss it, and even if I had an preponderance of free time, I wouldn't go back to raiding like that. I just missed so much shit having 4 weeknights spoken for evey week, plus mat/consumable gathering, and PvP. At least for me, life's better when you don't take WoW as seriously as a job.
