Yup, lost. The 2nd last fight my stupid team engaged 4v5 after I ran out of mana trying to carry them and went back to regen. Of course they engaged, some died and we got pushed to our keeps before I could get back, so we lost them all. Again I managed to push the enemy team away from simply ending the game, and again I ran out of mana. The idiots respawned and rushed mid, again engaging 4v5 and getting wiped this time. Afterwards the Valla with 1/3 of my dps goes "Ming so slow, GG". This is the story of half of my rankeds. I got really fed up recently and tried playing QM more.

So, today I've played a few QMs, mostly had inbalanced teams, but this is expected from QM. Nothing really gamebreaking aside of 1 game, when I was up against 2 tanks with myself being the only tank in my team as Alarak (yes, that was sarcastic). That was still just a foreshadowing of what was about to come in my last game of the day. I decided to go Zeratul for fun, because really, how bad can the teams be? Well, the matchmaking decided to prove to me exactly how bad they can be. My team had myself, GM, Chromie, Medivh and Tyrael. Not so bad for QM in general, sure. Except the enemy team had D.va, Zarya, Stitches, Medivh and Gazlowe... I knew I've wasted 20 minutes of my life even before the game loaded.

I'm honestly getting so fed up at this point, and I'm not even going to hide that I'm saltier than the Dead Sea. It seems like it doesn't matter how I'm doing nowadays. Before you ask, I was D1 last season and was definitely pulling my weight, often getting MVP, got D5 after placement for this season, and dropped as low as P4. Now I'm P2 and falling again. I know I deserve to be higher, I already was in 2 or 3 consecutive seasons and I'm always better than my direct opponents and do well in teamfights. It feels like I'm the most unlucky player EU and it's really killing my interest.

When I see a 0 death player blaming others for the loss, it was more than likely the 0 death player who would bail from team fights early and caused the loss themselves and then proceeds to flame the team and quoting their 0 deaths as if it was a skill metric.

Judging by his kill count and hero damage done while having zero deaths, you are wrong. Compare his stats to others, he also has suprisingly high siege damage for Li-Ming as she has bad wave-clear.

Not saying high numbers are reflection of skill, but it is about context.

0 deaths isn't the only stat he was excelling in that game. for bailing on his team constantly he sure has a shit ton of hero damage.

The other day I played a Haunted Mines QM as Abathur (only my second game at the hero) where my team mates died 7 (Xul), 10 (Naz) and 11 (Jaina, Diablo) times to my zero (well duh). Granted I played like shit (low map awareness so relatively low amounts of XP soaking - 2nd in the team behind Xul) and siege damage) but I was still top on kills and takedowns. Yet Xul felt the need to report me in the end for reasons: "aba reported". Gotta love them.

Well the MMR is completely nuts, after the 5man-3man-2man-1man queue transformation that HL went through it's just rigged and adjusts far too slow especially with all the returners from previous "eras". 2.0 baited a lot of people and many just returned but it's kinda terrible what that did to the MMR. They should do the hard reset and let even 10:0 players get maximum to plat 1. So they would have to progress through complete diamond before getting into master. That would give a lot more meaning to master&gm besides reshuffling people to where they truly belong.

While I absolutely agree that a hard reset is needed, I honestly think we're far past the point where one would be feasible. Too many people have put too many hours into the game at this point.

What they need to do is this:
Detach ranked seeding from Quick Match; lots of people do well in QM but have no clue how to play draft
Go back to 20 placement games, with the start-of-season MMR uncertainty likewise extended
Change the upper placement limit from Diamond 3 to at least Diamond 1
Lower the standard rank for new players to low-mid Gold, instead of the current low-mid Platinum

It'll still take time for the incorrectly-placed people to drop/rise to the ranks they actual belong at, but that would happen with a hard reset anyway.

Edit: Turns out he has less than 500 games played and less than 200 total hero level, scary shit. Some people think the sun shines out their arse and they can do no wrong.

I just did some numbers. Before 2.0 dropped, I had 10 more wins than losses this season. Now? 14 more losses than wins. So, since 2.0 dropped, I have lost 24 more games than I have won. Solely because of new people who have never played HL before/haven't played HL in 2 years. I don't know what I can do to climb. I am open to suggestions.

Oh, and the worst part? 5+ minutes in every. Single. Queue. I can't even get fast games! Waiting 5-6 minutes for a game where you get stomped in 13 minutes or less is not exactly optimal.

I try to learn Nova for Hanamura and this just happened...
