We have seen the point-capture maps, and the payload map...

But there's no capture-the-flag map.

My theory: The cinematic showed it already.

That museum will be a CTF map, with that Doomfist artifact being the "flag" for the map.

I mean, think of it - the main room of the museum is clearly large enough for combat, and it's not at all hard to imagine the map being expanded with balconiess and corridors and rooms above and around it to facilitate skirmishes and shooting platforms around it, with two areas being the team bases, and sucessfully transporting the gauntlet from the large central area to your base would net you points just like the other map objectives.

That would actually be pretty cool. It makes sense especially with Blizzard's love
for call-backs and such.




(And when the character who uses the gauntlet is inevitably introduced, people will
complain that it makes no sense and Blizzard will make a joke which a small but
loud group of people will be offended by. This will lead to much forum flaming and
lots of eye-rolling. Glorious.)

Hell no, I want to see the little kid crawl inside the Doomfist Armor and wield the Gauntlet as a new hero.

I could see that - your primary attack(s) gets replaced by a damageless shockwave AOE knockback/knockdown on a modest cooldown, so you can't really fight, but you're not totally helpless, and teamwork really comes into play as your allies protect you on the way back to base.

Makes sense. I hope CTF will be popular, it's definitely my favourite game mode in most games.

I would like to see something along the lines of CS:GO styled gameplay as well.
