Hey. I'm not against them doing that, and they should. That still doesn't give people the right to see it if it isn't available to them.

There are many things I can't see or do because they are not available in my area. That doesn't make me go try to steal it.

Actually, the law states that it is, yes. At least the laws pertaining to this thread.

Your statement was totally reasonable until this part. There is profit loss. You could find a way to get to an area where you can view the movie the legal way. Yes it would be stupid expensive just to see a movie, but too bad.

First link on google. Notice the verbs take, appropriate, move, seize and gain. All imply obstruction of one's access.

No, what you said is nonsense. Let's just for the sake of argument talk about paintings. Let's say I make a copy of a painting (like I paint a copy myself or hire a guy that can do that) - is it stealing the painting? What if I make an HD photo of the painting that shows it exactly as it is seen live? Is it stealing?

Movie is the same thing only it also has audio and it must be watched and heard in motion for the whole length of it.
All right, gentleperchildren, let's review. The year is 2024 - that's two-zero-two-four, as in the 21st Century's perfect vision - and I am sorry to say the world has become a pussy-whipped, Brady Bunch version of itself, run by a bunch of still-masked clots ridden infertile senile sissies who want the Last Ukrainian to die so they can get on with the War on China, with some middle-eastern genocide on the side

Ahh, gotcha. You just don't believe in receiving stolen property laws.

Well go and learn the meaning of the verb "take" in this case. Or better yet, go back to first grade while you're at it.

If you take it, it implies it's not there anymore for the owner. That's kind of what the word "take" means.

I don't think you understand what the word take means. The word take means to .. you know, take. To remove from. For them to no longer have because you have it.

    Hows about this link then:

    http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/...ition-of-theft

A person is guilty of theft if he dishonestly appropriates property belonging to another with the intention of permanently depriving the other of it; and “thief” and “steal” shall be construed accordingly.

So copying is not stealing as you do not take no one's property.
