    Made this exact post mid last year and the jury was out, some saying go for it, some saying wait till the 900 series cards came out, so I'm posting it again.

    4k capable with max settings on even the most intensive games for $4k.

    Resolution- 4k
    Games / Settings Desired- Max on intensive games
    Any other intensive software- I'm in Engineering so I may need to use it for CAD, 2D and 3D.

    The only thing I'd consider changing from Notarget's build is the monitor, and even then, the monitors are worth waiting for, as CES had a lot of goodies due out this quarter.

    Yeah I agree it might be worth waiting a bit with the monitor, this is basically the only 4K IPS (I think?) which I'd highly recommend. The Asus RoG SWIFT PG27AQ 4K IPS G-SYNC at CES is nice and all but it sounds like it'll be another 3-5 months until release.
