I see your point.
But also look at it this way; DLCs make it possible for people to decide how much they want to pay for the game. If the DLCs were added to the base games cost a lot less would buy the game.
Unlike MoBas, these DLCs does not affect the gameplay, it just gives you more content to enjoy the gameplay in.

I'd be fine with it if that's how it worked.. Except they keep charging full price AND THEN the day one DLC.

Its just like most games gives options between Standard version vs Deluxe version.

And in some cases Standard version vs Deluxe version +/- DLC.

EA is handling Origin very well. You get full refunds for games you've purchased and played if you are not satisfied with it. No questions asked.
The Origin client also feels very stable and not had any issues with syncing with cloud or anything. Just wish I could change store language to English since Im used to that.

I don't see day 1 DLCs as an issue. I just consider them as a bonus for the fans that want more.

I don't buy EA stuff on principle same with ubisoft.

Yeah, after the last AC game they released, I'm the same with Ubisoft.. They blatantly don't care anymore and just want to make money

I LOVE BioWare's games, absolutely adore them. I just don't want to support EA.

I'll probably buy the new AC game when I get a clear from the community that all bugs are fixed.
And if there is a huge discount, AC games arn't worth that much for me. Third person assassin with poor stealth mechanics? Blergh.

Really like the story with the twist to real history. And the games looks beutiful.

I'll buy their games again when they stop hacking off the last 20% of their game and try to sell it to me as dlc.

That's why I'll carefully choose my publishers and content producers. No way I am buying EA and the likes again. I'd rather never play a video game anymore.

I liked the boat stuff in 4. The character was nice and had actual growth. Though how he got to be as effective as an assassin without having training is weird.
3 was just terrible. Story was bad, character was an ass, the tree running was implemented poorly.

I liked Connor as a character.
Didn't like the pirate dude, and didn't really think the game fit as an AC game really.
The American Revolution was a much better story than AC4.

The setting was GOOD, really good, I'm not going to argue with that. It's just the implementation of it in the game is so poor in my opinion. It's the only AC game (Outside of Unity, which I didn't even buy) that I haven't 100%, let alone finish because I just didn't enjoy it. Just all the little things added up and I couldn't take it.

Yea, the starcraft betas don't have any campaign missions. I think they're mostly done just for balancing the multiplayer aspect. Also, apparently I also got in, since it's on my account when I checked a minute ago. Weird, didn't receive any email.
