I agree with Iced, being grown up is overrated.

I have the Baby Driver dvd sitting next to me right now. Haven't watched it yet.

    Joy has some good suggestions.

Baby driver has an amazing soundtrack, and it's a pretty chill movie without too much thought required.

I liked Baby Driver, but I think it dropped off a bit at the end. Still good! Just not as good, imo. The music integration was awesome, though.

    Some from me:

    Children of Men
    The Dark Knight
    Die Hard (1)
    The Emperor's New Groove
    The Fountain
    Forgetting Sarah Marshall
    Hot Fuzz
    Idiocracy
    Inception
Koe no Katachi (had to put this anime movie on here...)
    The Lobster
    Memento
    The Nightmare Before Christmas
    Office Space
    Pan's Labyrinth
    The Room
    Saving Private Ryan
    Shutter Island
    Whiplash

    Obviously more, but that's enough.

Activity on the entire site has slowed down over the years. I know mine has.

I don't movies, so I don't have any recommendations, except one I know you've seen.

I feel like activity on all forums have kind of died. Facebook, reddit, tiktok, etc have kind of taken over. I think forums are a bit of a relic anymore. I'm hoping they come back a little more someday, because I am not really a big fan of the other social platforms.

I guess it also depends on the subject and the forum itself. Places like reddit will see continued success due to the wide variety of sub forums they have and can create. The site itself also does not cater to one thing specifically. mmo-c is a gaming site that was/is dedicated to WoW and similar games. Though it does have sections for other topics, it is primarily a gaming site, which will limit its user base. I do agree with you that forums are becoming a relic.

The other social platforms really kinda suck and are toxic.

Also: holy crap its a decagon!

    Social media sucks.
My instragram followers is just tattoers that I like (and any personal/political opinion they have i immediately dissmiss because i don't care) and a few amazing powerlifters. Never touched FB outside from getting people so i can message them instead of texts.
Twitter is just a complete shitshow.....

I really do sympathize with the current and younger generation. Fact checking has gone haywire and never (in a digital world) been harder.

Yep. But in many ways the more things change the more they stay the same. Here we are nearly 10 years later and most of the crowd hasn't changed :P
