She might have been shy. The English requirements for Australia are the same for all countries in regards to the TOEFL score at least, but some countries have other arrangements. Like the Scandinavian and some other European countries. I didn't have to take the test because you "only" need a B in hs English. A friend of mine had to take the TOEFL test and she will start at an American college after New Year's.
Come to Perth! By then I'll have finished Uni and should have a job and money xD

Your Japanese exchange students sound very different to ours. First, why are they looking for Mormon guys? I understand you're in a Mormon area but...the Japanese exchange students aren't from there! It's not exactly like Mormons get idealized by...anyone. The ones at my school all made their own friend groups outside of the other exchange students too, since they all lived in the dorms but not together so all had room mates and stuff and took part to some degree in the Japanese society we have. Well, most of my classes are not full of attractive Asians and when they are, it's because they're my friends and they wanted me to take the class with them so they could get easy A's. I just got lucky in this case, and maybe not even that lucky because it's hard to tell if that guy she walks in with is just a friend or her boyfriend.
It's pure luck with the Chinese girls because I think Chinese women might be the least represented race besides Middle Eastern women, and even then that's debated.
We do, however, have a LOT of Japanese exchange students. The unfortunate thing about that is they're either looking for Mormon guys, are not looking for men at all, or they travel in groups of 10-15, making it extremely intimidating to just walk up and talk to one of them.
Take more science/difficult classes and you're bound to run into them, at least, here you are.
Cause I mean, they were all here to learn English. They did hang out together but traveling only together would be very counter productive to the entire reason they came here.

I still think it's hilarious how badly the whole anti-nsfw thing on imgur backfired. You'd literally maybe have one nsfw photo a day sneak it's way onto the FP, and there'd be a ton of them in random comments.
Now? Asses and underboob all over the place.
