Looks really great indeed. It would surprise me if it didn't get subbed to be honest. More and more Chinese cartoons/anime are getting subbed lately, most of them are on youtube though, plus the king's avatar, which it is based on, has gotten a Japanese localization as well.

Chitanda made me want to watch more just from the first episode. She's curious! Just the visuals employed when she says that and her eyes start to shine and their are vines and shit that take hold of him... looks fantastic.

It's visually stunning for sure. The OP looks fantastic, almost as pretty as Tamako Market's ED. Loving the classical soundtrack, too.
