Season 2
Really wish we had more war planning scenes where all of the admirals/officers gather together and discuss the plan.
"Counselor, I've better things to do than listen to you philosophize" LMAO, you've spent the entire shown philosophizing!
Loving the banter in episode 37.
LMAO wine scene
Man, episode 37 is on fire!
Yang x Fredrica yay!
Well at least Julian has Charlotte.
What was the point of the Rupert subplot if it wasn't going to lead anywhere? Feels like half an hour of screentime wasted. Only thing that mattered in the end was that the landsherr had decided to topple the balance and try to profit from an Empire controlled galaxy and then go into hiding. Could've taken just five, ten minutes of screentime at most.
I like Emil.
I don't know what Yang intends to accomplish with a fleet that numbers less than a thousand ships. He can't take on any squadrons without at least a thousand ships. Even if he had more than a thousand, the FPA's military organization has been dismantled and there would not be enough people capable of crewing those ships. Even if he found volunteers, they would not be able to be adequately trained in time to crew the ships before the rebel fleet was discovered or forced into battle. The infrastructure and resources of the new Empire are so vast that guerrilla warfare would have no tangible impact on the Empire. Only thing I can see is that Yang is going to pull an Ahle Heinesen and lead an expedition into deep space to keep democracy alive. How did Merkatz even escape with the 60 ships in the first place? The FPA surrendered and the Imperials are escorting Yang's fleet back to Heinesen. Those sixty ships can't just leave without the Imperials noticing and pursuing them.
