i really dont see anywhere where we've lost the identity of the spec ? it seems like burst is more available now more than ever ? with constant shadow dances and openers

Burst from Subtlety didn't just come from 'openers'. It came because of the debuffs that openers applied: Find Weakness, Sanguinary Veins. These have gone, and openers are therefore no different to regular rotational damage. Subtlety has gone from a burst-and-control specialisation to a consistent throughput damage specialisation*. Burst will come from a 3 minute cooldown (boring) where we'll be able to get off more Eviscerates, which I imagine will feel more like the current Combat Eviscerates rather than Subtlety Eviscerates (aka, neutered in terms of damage numbers).

*So it seems at the moment, anyway.

Who needs BoS? It was nice having it, but annoyed me more than Sprint wasn't just better and we had to have a cheap version tacked on to the class.

This feels assbackwards. Shouldn't sub have Shadow step & Shadow Swiftness while Assassination has Catwalk? I mean I kind of see sub being the spec that shadowsteps + moves faster (like how it used to be sans damage buff) while Assassination can jump from above for a kill. Then again, I'm basing this vibe off of TBC's Shadow Step and all the fun I had doing stealth runs.

Everyone was using Preparation for the extra Sprint, weren't they? Oh, wait, everyone was using Shadowstep or Burst of Speed, rendering Sprint's cooldown acceptable and people were hitting Preparation for Vanish and Evasion.
