Yeah, some steps just seem random and arbitrary that it's a wonder anyone, or group, found it.

I've seen similar "impossible" puzzles "solved" over the past few decades in games and activities online and in the real world and then later someone spills the beans that the winning group secretly got help from the game designers or even one of the game designers was on the winning team. I'm not saying that is happening in this case, but I HAVE seen this happen a LOT. I've become jaded by secret finding to the point where I was disinterested in joining this hunt for the hive mind.

Speaking of that, I got the Mega Man Legacy Collection for the Switch (well also the X Legacy Collection, but the first one is what I'm talking about right now). The first Mega Man is so ridiculously hard that beating things feels like exploiting a glitch rather than overcoming it with skill. There's one boss that practically REQUIRES a glitch (that yellow devil thing). Once you know how to do it, it's fun to fire a lightning blast at him and then abuse the pause button to kill him with it in one hit. Damn that game was bad. I heard the series almost got cancelled...but the development team begged for one more chance and it resulted in the far far better MM2.

Also...how in the HECK did someone look at THIS box art:


and then make THIS and say "Yeah I think that's acceptable for the US version":

The only thing wrong is that it looks nothing like the game in any way, the body is bent in some weird ways, and the man just doesn't look good in general.
