yeah, usually Im not one to nitpick quickly, but with public assassinations in almost every second movie these days, its really funny how after widowmaker was found/ tracer "reported" her, they escort Mondatta OUT IN THE OPEN with TWO BODYGUARDS AS HUMAN SHIELDS through a CROWD OF PEOPLE.
so fucking stupid.
He cant be brought back btw, once the cranial core is destroyed, the unique personality developed from it own experiences is dead. you could reuse the body and try to remake him but it would basicly be a different omnic, like when you clone someone.
speak for yourself, been having oodles of fun in overwatch
have a link to that reddit showing the lady and the robot btw?

Tracer is soooo god damn annoying...
My nickname is "LDEV", not "idev". (both font clarification and ez bait)
yall im smh @ ur simplified english
I must say that after widowmaker short....im impressed. In fact really impressed. I don't care about overwatch, and even less about its story, but damn that animation is simply amazing. Easily justifies hype.
That being said, it also makes me wonder why did they ever bothered with live action movie for warcraft given they can produce something of that quality.
Making something of that quality, for ~80 minutes, is a lot different than making 4 shorts that are around 5 minutes each.
Keep in mind that I'm not knocking them at all because I think they are all excellent quality, but there is a reason you see a lot of the same characters in each one of these cinematics. We've seen Tracer, Winston and Widowmaker a couple of times already. The reason they do that is because it's a lot easier to use and work with those same assets as they don't have to build new ones from the ground up.
They would have to hire a lot more people to make a feature film of that quality.
As far as their other cinematics that they have made for WC/SC/Diablo, those ones take AGES to make and the longest one is only 5 minutes.
All that said, I like Tracer and all, but would love to see some new characters in the next few features they release.
Why not both? A fight that switches between past and present.
It's a futuristic fantasy universe for a PvP FPMOBA.
You can suspend your disbelief for the robot monk or the gorilla scientist but not for the security deployment of an irrelevant secondary character who only exists to get killed by Widowmaker in a 7min long video?

Suspense of disbelief doesn't work that way. It orients itself based on the world we know, unless rules are obviously suspended. There is no reason for the viewer to assume that security of political vips works differently in the overwatch world, but there is reason to allow for robot monks and gorilla scientists, as they are given in-universe explanations.
I really liked that new short, even better than the first one.
holy fcking god, that new animated short is fcking awesome!
i feel sad for the.... omnic pope?
and tracer.
Formerly known as Arafal
Regardless. If you're gripe about the plausibility of the the scenario, you might want to start with an assassin who wears heels while flipping around buildings. Rather than worrying about someone's exit strategy in a game where people can shoot through walls like a hot knife through butter.
Blizzard could easily invest into that. And they could do so much better than with Warcraft. They could easily rival Disney if they wanted to branch out into the movie industry. They have some of the most recognizable IPs, ask 100 strangers on the street "what's Diablo/SC/WC?" and I bet 90 will have heard about at least one of them, and OW is a proof that they can dish out new ones on the same level.
Wait so after the Widowmaker/Tracer fight and the assassination, couldn't they just reload the robots memories and what not into a new robot body? Or maybe just repair him?
I feel like the Talon terrorist organization didn't think this through.
