I've always questioned the li li inclusion but then again I am not looking down a scope or cross hairs to put a bullet in her brain, I am clicking on her or putting a template under her. It doesn't matter if she is a 1000 year old vampire, the thing that matters is how people feel when they see her and have to kill her. Obviously not everyone is the same but there will be some shit hitting the fan from the populace.
Personally I am like the Tick, "But Arthur I can't hit Santa!" Arthur says, "It's not Santa! Its a maurading army of super powered street bums dressed like santa!" Tick says, "But how do you know!? One of them could be the real Santa!"

Well genn is using gun. Also, im pretty sure there are quite alot melee characters, and people are really stocked about physical violence against children.
Also don't forget a situation where a fat guy can chain her to the pole so she cannot escape while he is free to do as he pleases to her.
The Iso PoV of HotS also plays a role in this imo...
We already know by a strong implication based on the designer video feeds we saw that its likely going to be Sombra, who is listed as a support sniper.
As for other future heroes:
- Soundquake (Red Armor Guy, very likely a Tank)
- Japanease Mech Girl (Uses Projections, has a Mech, possibly two heroes that can switch?, seems support)
- Doomfist (Unlikely to be a hero, maybe some kind of NPC based antagonist if they ever do a campaign mode)
- Athena (We know she has a mech out there, either its hers, or something created by her, possibly her daughter? Omincs could consider their creations children)
- Hazmat Guy (Dont know this dudes name, but we so see him in the announcement trailer in a yellow hazmat suit likely carrying some kind of toxin based weapon, seems like another Mei)
- Another Shimada (This is just pure speculation but Hanzo states only a Shimada can control the dragons, there may be more than 3 dragons, possibly a sister, brother, or their father)
- Liao (Named as one of the origional six heroes that fought in Reyes Overwatch, no idea if they're alive, what gender they are, or what purpose they serve)
- Sven (Shown in Tjorborn's Comic, though unlikely to be a hero, its not impossible given his particualrly unique design)
- Evil Omnic Villian (We dont really have an evil robot yet, since Bastion can be considered a murderous piece of filth trash but morally and lore wise appears to be a good guy)
- Brigette (Reinhardt's Squire, she seems a good option for support since she is clearly seen using a smaller rocket hammer to repair armor)
Could use another support, but that won't necessarily limit Blizzard, they tend to just implement what they think is coolest over equal role numbers etc.
I'm hoping if they do make Doomfist, it's a new one composed of the two kids from the cinematic standing on each others shoulders. The world needs more heroes, you know.
Blizzard never says never!
I think Sombra (shadow in Spanish afaik?) could work as a non-standard support like Symmetra. Brief moments of invisibility to herself and team members would be a very solid support kit, would also go a ways in giving Widowmakers trouble with temp-cloaked flankers etc.
I agree I think Sombra would be more a non-standard support, as much as I love the idea of sniping "healing bullets", she seems more a utility support.
We need a native american character.
"You know you that bitch when you cause all this conversation."
I just hope there's another classically handsome male character. That'd make me happy.
Someone who uses deadly yoyos or explosive pellets shot from a slingshot.
I was hoping the big red omnic/whatever would be a fire-based area-control tank.
Setting areas on fire to zone people out/control points.../want
I'd personally love to see, like, a Birst skin for Mercy or something. Just put Mercy in Birst's outfit.
She'd be able to both kill and heel and and and she could jump soo high. o__o
