If it gins up millennial votes for Trump in swing states, it could help Clinton. If it doesn't, it doesn't matter.
Most of the people saying this is a big deal already weren't going to vote Trump, so they weren't part of his base nor were they undecided voters. Most of the people that (rightly) note things like how this is the type of thing many males say in all male, small groups, or point out that this is arguably true (that women tend to go for rich/famous and "confident" men), were already going to vote for Trump anyway. It was also 11 years ago - a time when most Americans opposed gay marriage and supported the Iraq War still, to give you an idea of the general climate of the nation at the time.
For undecided that are still undecided, this may nudge them further from voting for Trump, but in this bizzaroland election of roughly equal evils, that doesn't necessarily mean it nudges them towards voting for Clinton. If it turns moderates off of Trump, but DOESN'T turn them on to Clinton, than it's a wash that has no effect on the election anyway.
So, again, while this is a media firestorm right now - the same media that only about 6% of Americans believe is trustworthy and that many believe is in the pocket of the Democrat party and Clinton election machine - will this actually alter the election dynamics? Probably not a lot.
All that those religious types debating not voting for Trump have to be reminded of is Clinton picking Supreme Court Justices that will force them to pay for abortions and have gay weddings at their churches and they'll likely reluctantly vote for Trump. If it wasn't for the Supreme Court, a lot more people would be willing to vote Ckinton or at least not vote Trump, but a progressive-authoritarian SCotUS supermajority is a surprisingly terrifying thing to a lot of conservatives. Indeed, that's probably a strong reason Trump has had such a stubbornly high persistent floor.
And talking about women in this way - 11 YEARS ago at that - isn't likely going to turn off his white working class make voters, or even the few working class Minority voters he has picked up. It just isn't an issue to these people when things like TPP, free trade, an erosion of manufacturing jobs in the US, lowering real wages, and feelings that the Democrat party has declared open season on them are in play.
Again, most of the people this is an issue to are people that already were Clinton supporters.
And the media. But I repeat myself there.
Most people that were already going to hold their nose and vote Trump are still going to, and most people that are inconsistent at his "deplorable"-mess already weren't going to. This may not even move the needle that much.
Sunday's debate and how he handles it, though...as they say, it's usually the coverup (or reaction/PR/failure of PR) that is damning, not the scandals themselves.
And then we have the wikileaks document dump on Clinton's speeches to the big banks, which - again - only matters to people that have already made their minds up.
