Question Ah, the ol' WHICH OP TOON SHOULD I.. thread

Hey all. Been playing since TBC. Took a break after cata until WoD, then had to stop until now. I'm currently enjoying my HVDH and only just realized SV Hunter feels just as nice maybe nicer.. But I'm not 110 yet so..

What's in your opinion the best melee dps, ranged dps, and healer for ranked arenas/bgs?

I'm thinking all melee is good atm. DH should be safe, if not Surv is looking promising.

Ranged DPS: BM kinda sucks looks like which sucks as a bm loving hunter main. I guess MM is the PVP spec for them. Otherwise - Spriest and Afflock I'm thinking about rolling, with ele shaman lastly.

Most importantly for me right now, which healer? I'm honestly torn between MW Monk and Resto druid. I've played druid before, it seems it's doing great... But in my research it seems monks MIGHT be better excluding mana problems which is like a QQ issue really imo. I haven't played resto shaman but I think rdruid > rsham so..

    What do you guys think?

For melees, I'd say Havoc are in a rather nice spot, they do have their shortcommings, but it's not in the damage department.. Survival is indeed nice as well. Rogues are doing pretty well i arenas as well.

For ranged, I'd say afflock or mage basically. Shadow is alright, but you'll just be tunneled 24/7 by all melees.

When it comes to healers, I'd not roll a shaman, unless you're doing high rated 3s with a shaman friendly setup. They feel rather lackluster right now. At lower ratings blowing up a shaman is really easy.. Druids are pretty good, but then again, so is the MW.. It really boils down to personal choice here imo.
