    Samwise and others are influenced by heavy metal and hard rock, and samwise even does stuff for Hammerfall, so I wouldnt be surprised if it was an influence.

    I don't even see the huge resemblance. Similar color scheme, but black and red is not quite that special. I've seen various shots from different sources showing a fallen civilization in flames and the enemy in the background.
