Second monitor refresh rate

I am interested in getting a second monitor. My current monitor is 144hz refresh rate.

My question is: Are there any negatives to getting a 60hz 2nd monitor?

I'm not sure if having a 2nd monitor at a lower refresh rate will cause any kind of micro stutter, or input lag, or any kind or delay / extra latency. I am very sensitive to these things and will gladly spend the extra money to avoid these negative things and get a 144hz 2nd monitor if necessary. I would also gladly save the extra money if there are no negative side effects.

I know that I will probably have to play my games in windowed mode to be able to use the 2nd monitor correct? I am willing to give up full screen mode for the utility of a 2nd monitor. I have tried it in many games and it doesn't feel too much worse than full screen. But again, the main question is will the 60hz cause any extra negative effects that 2 144hz displays would not feel?

Good question. I too would like one day a 2nd monitor, but then I need a bigger desk to hehe :P
