    Question Top Addons - Legion

    Hi everyone,

I wrote an article on my top addons as I was getting a lot of questions about them whilst streaming. I posted it to reddit first and got some great feedback, and have since updated it a couple of times. I tried posting a link to it on the WoW forums but got very little in terms of constructive feedback, just a lot of venemous BS (it didn't help that I posted it in the wrong place to begin with, but still....). I spent a lot of time on this article in the hope that people will find it useful, and so far I've not spoken to someone who hasn't at least seen one addon in the list that they're now interested in and want to check out.

I've got a few more that I want to add to the list in due course based on feedback:

    Buyemall
    CTA tracker
    Armory Quicklink
    Easydeleteconfirm
    AngryAssignments
    Badboy
    TidyPlates

And I'm now looking for specifically UI addons as alternatives to ElvUI/Tukui (LUI and SpartanUI have been suggested so far). Any constructive feedback greatly appreciated.

ElvUI for the actual UI is all that you'll ever need really. You can customise it and show as much or little as you want.

Personally, I agree, using ElvUI myself with specific things disabled. I just want to provide alternatives for those who particularly don't want to use ElvUI/want to see what else is available before committing to using ElvUI.

There's quite a few addons that i use that are QoL based

CleanBossButton - Removes the texture on the ExtraActionButton - http://www.tukui.org/addons/index.php?act=view&id=54
Court of Stars Gossip Helper - Takes the Auto select Gossip from DBM into its own addon - https://mods.curse.com/addons/wow/25...-gossip-helper
RelicInspector - Shows the traits it will give for other specs - https://mods.curse.com/addons/wow/relicinspector
Leatrix Plus - Adds a bunch of extras that you can enable and really handy - https://mods.curse.com/addons/wow/leatrix-plus

for the whole getting away from ElvUI/TukUI. It depends on what you want. Pitbull/Stuf Unit frames are good as it is fully customizable even the text (if you know lua), Bartender4 or Dominos are generally the Go-To Action Bar mods. For skinning everything (one of the reasons i stick with elvUI) you can use something like Miir's Texture Pack or Aurora's Missing Textures

Thanks Rehok! RelicInspector looks interesting...will give that a test. I listed Leatrix Plus already (I LOVE this addon) as it's just so powerful yet simple. The others seem very bespoke.

In terms of the UI stuff, I'm thinking of UI "package" addons, if that makes sense. Essentially one addon that reskins (some/all of the UI), has some built in functionality for some QoL stuff, and is simple enough that people can readily download and use it. Personally I like ElvUI as-is, but it has become apparent there is demand out there for alternatives .
