Oh somehow I missed this gem;
Thought the Tories were all about free markets? Seems like they're intent on making the UK as inhospitable to tech companies as possible.

She's a nationalist because Huffpost said so?
"Mrs. May also spoke of the necessity for multilateral-ism in stark contrast with the line pushed by the White House — which prefers bilateral-ism — over recent days. She cited the need to tackle “climate change” as one of the reasons to back globalist institutions."
Aaaaaaaaand she just lost the next election.
Lata bitch.
Do you honestly think the young voters will stand for this shit?
Die a hero or become old enough to see yourself become the villain?
I distinctly remember when they started to plaster every public place with cameras and how they had quite the respectable majority for that. This is just an ongoing trend in my book. The Brexit was just one of the larger dominos that recently fell into place, setting up conservative controll freaks is the issue here, not that the last idiot in charge gambled on economic ruin and lost - probably because of an ad on a bus.
Most people really don't care tbh, older people will either just not care or see it as a good thing, middle aged people don't care or see it as a good thing. The only group of people that actually care about policies like this are younger people, who barely even bother to vote anyway
One thing I do not understand is why are people blaming this on Brexit when EU is forcing the exact same fucking thing with the Audio visual reform?
Seriously, you guys either live on a bubble or you just want to criticize the other side and pretend yours is perfect.
In the old days, people were subjugated with fear. Now all we have to do is give them something scary and they subjugate themselves.
It would be extremely "sad" if someone accidentally threw a stone which by some sad miracle hit her head. I hate censorship
Nationalism coupled with an enemy and the thought of "us vs them" at work. Enjoy, it worked out SO well last time a European country gave in to this shit.
It's stuff like this that's where overall majorities in parliament annoy me. The ruling party taking votes based on any number of issues as a mandate for all of their policies. Normally that wouldn't necessarily be so bad, but you end up with whipped votes, where the views of constituents don't even matter if the party leadership has decided it's something they really want to do.
This strikes me as one of those times.
This is probably in response to the ransomware that impacted the NHS?
Parliamentary system is different right? She already has the votes in parliament to do this? Not like the US were each of the 450+ congressmen vote however they want, leadership be damned?
