I am not sure what's your point (sorry, it's evening, I mean it), I just wanted to say that Christie Golden sees that this is a complete disaster and tries to distance herself from it.

In terms of how well she writes, I am not a fan, and I think the depiction of Sylvanas in her recent book kind of clashes with this evil image of Sylvanas in today's video, so that's perhaps a nice illustration to why I am not a fan.

How Sylvanas burned the tree not because of Horde survival, not to turn all the elves into undead slaves, not because of some chess game level strategy,
but because Delaryn dared her.

Even Banshee Prince raised a brow when she told him to make the party lit.
Also, those catapults have some ridiculous range.

No. It's true. Apparently, not only were the Horde warned by Magni NOT to mine the fucking Azerite to begin with. But, they also attacked an Alliance expedition soon after.

I just figured out what ilgynoth was talking about in emerald nightmare.

Ion has no gender, he is sylvanas and n'zoth at the same time.

"The king of diamonds has been made a pawn."

Ion is the king of diamonds and immense wealth.

"Flesh is his gift. He is your true creator."

Ion created void elves and isn't giving us high elves, we need to appreciate the fact he created us.

"To find him, drown yourself in the circle of stars."

Circle of stars = popular blizzard employees, he eventually made his way to the top, so to find him you have to go to blizzard HQ.

"The lord of ravens will turn the key."

Raven = Bird = Pepe, ion is the lord of pepe.

"The boy-king serves at the master's table. Three lies will he offer you."

Boy-king = Ion, master = blizzard. Ion is known for telling lies.

First Lie: Patch 6.1 is a major content patch
Second Lie: High Elves are Blood Elves
Third Lie: Horde is morally grey

"Her heart is a crater, and we have filled it."


This is when ion transforms back into sylvanas

"Five keys to open our way. Five torches to light our path."

First Key: High elves
Second key: the Horde
Third Key: the alliance
Fourth Key: Warlords of Draenor
Fifth and final key: Lore (the CM)

SYLVANAS = ION = NZOTH

FFS People still KEEP going on about the Goblin miners as if they weren't there specifically to aquire and stockpile new more powerful weapons to use against the Alliance.

The weren't "civilians" at that point, they were a part of a legitamate act of agression against the Alliance and thus a military target. irl Weapons factorys and munitions aren't counted as civilian targets.

yes its true. the horde attacked first. in the novel as you understand 90% of the playerbase is not aware of that at all. they see only what happens in game. and in game they see alliance attacking first. this is blizz's fault.

I like how Blizzard has canonically made Nathanos hesitate/act worried by Sylvanas twice in the leadup to BFA. Does he do anything similar in the War Campaign?

If you go by the book he was the voice of reasoning. When I played through beta though they kinda fucked this point of his character up though, because he just comes across as a sylvanas spit licker without any personally of his own.
