Yeah, it's 317k right now. People probably bought a bunch to pay for the virtual ticker or the pet

It is due too Blizzcon Virtual Tickets being available since yesterday.....as of late ever since they allow Tokens to be placed on Bnet account Balances, it has driven up the prices of the tokens.....each time a new pet or mount since then has been put in Blizzard Store, the Token prices have raised up quite a bit....they usually will go down some few weeks later but not too the original prices when new items have been placed in the store....just wait till Nov and announcement of next Expansion comes out and pre orders ....seeing you will be able to buy the expansion with Token gold.

In both NA and EU markets the token capped out on the increase per hour for awhile. It kept raising over night in the EU though so I imagine it is going to pick up steam as the day hits there. Originally Posted by By the Emperor

People are literally swimming in gold the last couple of years, so no surprise there.
After buying almost all tcg mounts and the spider, i still cant get rid of the gold fast enough. Its completely useless.

It depends on when he bought them. You could easily find rooster for 500k few years ago, now it's 14kk on some realms Originally Posted by ReVnX

Yeah it's cause of the Blizzcon ticket. I foresaw it once I saw the announcement. It will go down again eventually. Still wished I would've bought some tokens at 230k. Might take a while til it's down to that price again.

The reason the price goes up is because everybody is trying to buy them at the same time. It doesn't mean people have a lot of gold, just means there was nothing to buy for them prior to this, and now they have a reason to convert their gold to battlenet balance.
