OK, here's what I will do. I promise not to complain about people making low quality posts and low quality points. I have been skipping 90% of low quality jabs, I will be skipping 100%. Fine? Fine. Can we please just discuss the events? Please? Thank you.

Apparently, saying Trump is a fuck up is a personal insult. Bad enough to insult posters directly, as a reply. It must be the ‘be best’ campaign. Trump wins an election, while being a belligerent asshole. But, random internet posters... be best...

I was very specific that, if Trump doesn't agree with the investigation into Russians shooting down a plane full of innocent civilians, then he's being a massive hypocrite by accusing Iran with similar data. To date, Trump hasn't done that yet. Even if he did, "not being a hypocrite" is a pretty low bar for a Trump supporter to set to claim Trump is being smart. Some people...I'd say "most people" actually...think that being smart is more than just not being a hypocrite. But then, I'm not a member of the rabid fanbase.

By the way, speaking of stupid things on Twitter, Trump's new campaign promises include curing cancer and AIDS. Naturally, this rings as disingenuous as a....eh, too easy. But Trump has personally tried to cut science funding and, to be honest, I was unaware that the executive branch actually had a Department of Curing Things.

"There is the NCI, National Cancer Institute. It's part of the NIH and works in tandem with HHS."

Ah, neat! And Trump is naturally increasing their funding?

"Um...no. He wants to cut their funding, too."

I see. So, these promises he made are, once again, exactly the opposite of his words and actions. Got it.

You know, I also think it's pretty

    SAD!

of a Trump supporter to say things like

the event is more important than all of the "events" from Twitter
as an attempt to claim Trump's words and actions don't matter, because they know Trump's words and actions can't be defended honestly. When Trump takes to the podium and/or Twitter, he speaks from the highest position in US government. Dismissing the majority of what he says, because it happens to be on his favorite platform, is just lame-ass, limp-dick and IMPOTUS. It's almost as disingenuous as trying to claim "public flaunting" of terms is a bad thing, while defending Trump, who does exactly that over and over.

But that's secondary. The real point, of course, is not only is Trump running in 2020 under "stick it to the establishment which I am now the head of" it's also "this time I'll promise things that are even more unbelievable" and it sounds a lot like "re-elect me or Democrats will kill your children with cancer and AIDS", while personally making sure such a promise is even harder than if he'd done nothing. That sounds like the kind of science taught at Trump University.

Would you like to back up your statement about how pointing out Trump is a fuck up is bashing? Yes? No?

I am not sure you really want me to answer but just in case you do, the definition of "bashing" includes "fierce criticism". That's the sense in which I used the word. Are we done?

All I have to say is that your measure of bashing is most definitely skewed towards the wrong end.

To be fair--not that he deserves it, but still--I'm sure he's just trying to one-up Biden who said he wants to cure cancer during his administration.

Then I'll gladly bash him while you cry about it.

So the Trump still is a ludite (and racist) who cares not for things like DNA testing, as he said that the Central Park Five are still guilty:
    https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-48687356

Same goes for the bitch prosecutor too, I guess.

Can president in USA be sued for slander? Because this is, at minimum, slander of the 5 men. Or does everything take Senate approval for some stupid reason in your country?

Wait his stock market performance is a success?
Flat returns for 17 months and hitting the same record over and over before he does something stupid again is a success?

On top of the fact its about 40% lower then the last president in the same point in his term, and he was labeled by trump as a complete failure and he said his stock market and economy was a disaster.

So how can it be a success when the same measurements he used show its not??

But it's record breaking! That's what Mango Musellini keeps telling me! Never mind that the stock market is designed to always be record breaking...

    "So...concentration camps."

    Yep. Concentration camps. Awesome.

Now, to a certain extent, it might not matter. The House will shut anything down that even rhymes with "Wall" at this point, and of course neither the House nor us know the details yet. But it sure sounds like Trump asked for more money for more concentration camps, such as the ones he already has running in which forceably separated children are kept until they died, and that both parties are looking at it favorably. Because, at this point, meeting Trump halfway means not funding his Wall, but funding concentration camps. On American soil.

    You mean "FEMA death camps".

That is what they called the supposed creation of camps all thought out the united states in a huge conspiracy that Obama was going to stop the 2016 election and put people in camps.

Funny how now that camps are ACTUALLY being built, no one on the right has problems with it.

and when its not record breaking they just kick out GE...and others who are not doing so well...to make it look better.

That is why I follow the SP500 and Russell 2000.

Though even those measurements are effected by companies that drop below a financial threshold so the worst performing companies are kicked out.

The closest thing to real performance tracking is the Wilshire 5000. It tracks over 3500 stocks and only limits OTC and penny stocks on minor markets.
Though they still do some adjustments at least they don't kick out companies that have a few bad years to prop up the index.

    Wilshire 5000 hit 29,760 on 1/22/2018
    Today they are at 30,008.45

Flat now for almost 17 months.

They hit this "record" area around 7 times already before something stupid is said or done by the administration.

This is one for the ages -- Trump's America is going to cure cancer and AIDS!

President Donald Trump officially launched his bid for the 2020 presidency at rally in Orlando, Florida, on Tuesday with a series of extravagant pledges to a packed stadium of cheering supporters.

He told cheering supporters: "We will push onward with new medical frontiers. We will come up with the cures to many, many problems, to many, many diseases — including cancer and others, and we're getting closer all the time."

"We will eradicate AIDS in America once and for all, and we're very close. We will lay the foundation for landing American astronauts on the surface of Mars."

His sheer inability to understand that you can't just cure cancer is insulting. That doesn't even go into the other nonsense he says daily.

Ah yes... we're back at Hillary again! But teh emails!

What a loser of an old senile fuck that "man" is.

What's more hilarious about this, the grifters ripped on Biden, I'm guessing they are going to be silent on this though.

Grifter is too kind of a term to describe these vermin.

What's worse is Don Jr. mocking Biden for making that claim. Biden lost his son to cancer. Junior has as little empathy as his shit father.

I think it's great that Biden wants to focus on curing cancer. Not a fan of Status Quo Joe, but if he gets elected I think it'd be a good idea to try to put some funding towards finding a cure. I mean, I'm sure there already is, but I think it's a good idea to focus more on it.

It's more good will than the Trumps have done in their entire life anyways.
